摘要:
A refuse compacting system including a plurality of containers, each of the containers being substantially square and when placed in groups of four, forming four compacting stations, adjacent one another for occupying a reduced amount of space. In addition, the four containers would be set upon a manually rotatable platform, that would be rotatable upon a central axis for rotating the containers to a specific point when that particular container would be the point of compaction. The system would further include a single ram movable between a single preferably hydraulically operated ram movable between upper and lower positions, so that when a particular container removed directly beneath the ram, the turn-table would be manually placed in a stop position, and the ram moving to the down position in order to crush and containerize any waste materials in the container. There is further provided bag means contained in each of the containers, for allowing one to remove the compacted trash after the compaction is complete.
摘要:
An apparatus for compacting refuse in a drum or in a bag, or of drums themselves, is provided with a frame mounted above a platform. The platform provides a base supporting a cylindrical jacket which encloses the media to be compacted. The jacket is mounted upon a movable platform, which is positioned under a compaction disk connected to a hydraulic ram during the compacting operation and removed from under the compaction disk, when the refuse is loaded into the jacket or removed from it. The platform slides from the operating zone eliminating hazardous conditions for an operator in case if the compaction disk accidentally descends during a non-operation. The jacket can be opened for loading of refuse within its walls and can be closed prior to positioning of the jacket under the compaction disk.
摘要:
A warning circuit particularly suited for indicating that an intermittently operated device has been operated for a predetermined cumulative length of time. The circuit utilizes a coulometer as a current integrator that accumulates the intermittent periods of time during which the device operates. At the end of the predetermined cumulative length of time, the impedance of the coulometer changes from a low level to a relative higher level. This change in impedance renders a first transistor conductive and results in a warning indication. A second transistor is latched into a state of conductivity that causes a feedback current to flow through the coulometer to maintain it in its high impedance condition. The warning indication is controlled by an amplifier circuit which, in turn, is controlled by the second transistor. Once the high impedance of the coulometer is achieved, the second transistor at all times retains its state of conductivity indicative of this condition, but the amplifier circuit is operative only when the intermittently operated device is in operation.
