摘要： A photographic camera having a photographic lens system freely settable to various focal lengths, an openable and closable lens cover disposed in front of the photographic lens system, an opening and closing mechanism for the lens cover, a motor for providing kinetic energy for the focal length changeover operations of the photographic lens system and also for the opening and closing operations of the lens cover, and a drivable cylinder capable of transmitting the kinetic energy from the motor to the photographic lens system and to the opening and closing mechanism in the form of a mechanical displacement. The opening and closing mechanism opens the lens cover by utilizing a mechanical displacement from a home position to an intermediate position of the drivable cylinder and closes the same by utilizing a mechanical displacement from the intermediate position to the home position of the drivable cylinder, and further changes over a focal position by utilizing mechanical displacements reversibly between the intermediate position and an end position of the drivable cylinder.

摘要： A camera comprising a main lens component disposed in a photographic optical path, and a first and a second auxiliary lens components movable into and out of the photographic optical path. The main lens component provides a standard focal length. The first auxiliary lens component is pivotable about an axis extending parallel to an optical axis of the main lens component. When in the optical path, the first auxiliary lens component, in combination with the main lens component, provides a long focal length. The second auxiliary lens component is pivotable about an axis extending parallel to a straight line perpendicular to the optical axis of the main lens component. When in the optical path, the second auxiliary lens component, in combination with the main lens component, provides a short focal length.

摘要： An image reproducing system which can automatically output only a portion of an image recorded on a film which conforms to trimming information set upon photographing as an electric image signal without the necessity of a manual operation. The image reproducing device comprises means for detecting an image recorded on a film, means for reading trimming information of the image, the trimming information being recorded on a record medium when the image has been recorded on the film and representing a condition of reproduction of the image, means for generating an electrical image signal in accordance with the image detected by the detecting means, and means for controlling an output of the electrical image signal to be generated by the generating means in accordance with the trimming information read by the reading means.

摘要： A camera with its taking optical system having two alternative, large and small, focal lengths and its finder optical system so contrived that the image formed as its focal length is varied continuously is visible through the finder, the latter included in a zoom optical system. The camera calculates the magnification of the image in the finder the photographer intends after seeing it and the focal length selected by him with the condition of the finder's optical system taken into account, and the result is recorded in the film are trimming information at the time of photographing. 摘要： A photographic camera capable of using a film having a magnetic surface. There is provided a magnetic head for writing and reading information on the magnetic surface of the film and a pad for pressing the magnetic surface on the film into contact with the head. The film travels between the magnetic head and the pad out of contact therewith until the initial loading of the film. The film is held between the magnetic head and the pad in contact therewith after the completion of the initial loading thereof is detected.

摘要： A camera capable of identifying photographing conditions causative of red-eye effect making the eyes of human pictures in a flash-photographed picture come out red, and recording the identified photographing conditions in an external memory provided on a film cartridge loaded thereon. The camera recognizes the possibility of occurrence of red-eye effect on the basis of the focal length of the camera lens, the object distance, the distance between the optical axis of the camera lens and the light source of the flash light device and the object brightness. When the photographing conditions are identified to be causative of red-eye effect, a warning is displayed and flash photographing is forbidden. When photographing operation is carried out under photographing conditions liable to cause red-eye effect, information about the exposed film including the photographing conditions is recorded in the external memory to enable the subsequent developing and printing processes to correct the photograph with reference to the information.

Though the first memory, namely, the sound recording memory and the second memory, namely, the film are separate, the recorded sounds can accurately correspond to the photographed frames of the film respectively.In a sound playback apparatus, by attaching thereto a medium in which sound data are recorded in each area thereof and a print in each frame of which a code indicating a sound recording area is recorded, the sound playback apparatus can play back sound data corresponding to the photographed frames of the film respectively from the medium.

摘要： A photographic camera which assures proper use of a front converter and prevents out-of-focus photographing when the front converter is used and wherein a switch for detecting whether a tele-converter is in its operative position or inoperative position is not exposed outside the camera. The switch is provided in a converter body removably mounted on a camera body and is connected in series to another switch also provided in the camera body for operation upon attachment of the converter body to the camera. When the converter is mounted in its operative position on the camera body, it is detected by a control circuit in the camera body in accordance with a signal received from the switches, and the control circuit controls various functions of the camera in a different manner from that when the converter is not in its operative position.
