    摘要： In a camera capable of recording sound data corresponding to photographed frames of a film respectively, the sound data can be recorded in a first memory (e.g. a sound IC card), and data indicating correspondence between the photographed frames of a film and the sound data respectively can be recorded in a second memory (e.g. a film). Though the first memory, namely, the sound recording memory and the second memory, namely, the film are separate, the recorded sounds can accurately correspond to the photographed frames of the film respectively.In a sound playback apparatus, by attaching thereto a medium in which sound data are recorded in each area thereof and a print in each frame of which a code indicating a sound recording area is recorded, the sound playback apparatus can play back sound data corresponding to the photographed frames of the film respectively from the medium.

    摘要： A motor-driven camera comprising a film winding and rewinding mechanism operable by a starter switch, and a low power consumption type memory unit. The film winding and rewinding mechanism include a transmission changeover gear. For sliding this gear a motor is rotated backward once to eliminate a contact between teeth of the changeover gear and a drive gear operatively connected to the motor. The memory unit includes a flip-flop memory circuit and a switching circuit. The memory circuit shifts from a first state to a second state and remains in the second state when the starter switch is closed. In the second state the memory circuit outputs an operation signal to a transmission mechanism control unit, and returns to the first state upon receipt of a signal output by the control unit when an operation is completed. The switching circuit performs a positive feedback function with respect to the closure of the starter switch.

    摘要： A camera is provided with a photographing device for setting various photographing conditions which determine a state of a subject image to be obtained as a picture, the photography device including an exposure device having a Plurality of selectively settable exposure modes for automatically setting at least one exposure value based on brightness of a subject, a mode selector for selecting one of the plurality of exposure modes, a calculation unit for calculating an amount indicative of the state of the subject image in accordance with the photographing conditions set by the photography device, an estimation unit for estimating visual effects which the subject image provides based on the calculated state amount, and a display device for displaying the visual effect corresponding to the exposure mode selected by the mode selection means in accordance with the estimated visual effects. Accordingly, an operator of the camera is allowed to conceive before an exposing operation what the final picture will look like in accordance with the photographing conditions set in a variety of exposure modes.

    摘要： A winding and rewinding apparatus for a camera comprises a winding mechanism, a detector, a rewinding mechanism, a selector and a controller. The winding mechanism winds the film frame by frame, and the detector detects the completion of exposure of the roll of film which is wound by the winding mechanism. The rewinding mechanism rewinds the film automatically in response to the detection of the detecting means. The selector includes a selecting switch which is operable manually, for selecting in response to the operation of the selecting switch one of a first mode in which the operation of the rewinding mechanism is permitted and a second mode in which the operation of the rewinding mechanism is inhibited irrespective of the detection of the detector. The controller controls the rewinding mechanism in accordance with the mode selected by the selecting switch. According to such arrangement, the user can select a manual rewinding mode or an automatic rewinding mode by a simple operation.
