    Abstract: A battery according to the present disclosure includes: a power generating element including a first electrode, a second electrode, and an electrolyte layer between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a first extraction electrode. The first electrode includes a first current collector and a first active material layer between the first current collector and the electrolyte layer. The first extraction electrode includes: a first conductive member connected to a first surface of the first current collector, the first surface being opposite to the first active material layer; and a first lead connected to the first conductive member.

    Abstract: A battery includes an electricity-generating element that includes an electrode layer and a counter-electrode layer, an electrode current collector that is disposed in contact with the electrode layer, a counter-electrode current collector that is disposed in contact with the counter-electrode layer, and a first sealing section that includes a first portion and a second portion. In the battery, the first portion is positioned within an opposing region where the electrode current collector and the counter-electrode current collector oppose each other and is in contact with the electrode current collector and the counter-electrode current collector. In addition, the second portion is positioned outside the opposing region, and the second portion is positioned outside both an edge of the electrode current collector and an edge of the counter-electrode current collector.
