摘要: The present disclosure involves determining base station (BS) beams for communicating between a UE and the BS. The BS may use sensor data or beam management reporting history to assist with determining one or more appropriate beams. The sensor data may include camera images, radar data, or lidar data, and be used to model the cell environment served by the BS. The BS may obtain reporting data from multiple UEs over time indicating the quality of beams received by the UEs at various locations in the cell environment and model the cell environment based on the reporting data. The BS may associate beams with possible UE locations within the cell environment and use the associations to determine beams for communicating with a UE after determining the UE's location.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may reduce a channel overhead of a peak suppression information message (PSIM) by reducing amplitude signaling of clipped peaks of a data signal. To avoid including amplitude information for each clipped peak of a time-domain data signal in a PSIM, the transmitting device may subtract a constant amplitude offset from each peak above a clipping threshold in the time-domain data signal. The transmitting device may indicate the amplitude offset in the PSIM, and a receiving device may reconstruct the data message based on the amplitude offset. In some examples, the transmitting device may indicate a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) in the PSIM, such as a PAPR of a maximum peak in the data signal. Based on the indicated PAPR, the receiving device may perform a calculation to determine the amplitude offset for reconstructing the data message.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) may multiplex peak suppression information message (PSIM) on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) with data for efficient implementation of PSIMs for peak to average power ratio (PAPR) reduction. A UE may clip peaks from a signal to be transmitted and capture information of the clipped peaks into a PSIM. The UE may then multiplex the PSIM on the PUSCH such that a receiving device (for example, a base station) may receive the signal and reconstruct the signal (for example, PUSCH data) using the PSIM. According to some aspects, each PUSCH symbol may include a PSIM for a previous PUSCH symbol (for example, such that causality is preserved if multiplexing PSIM and data for each PUSCH symbol). Various aspects of the techniques described herein may further provide for PSIM positioning in frequency, PSIM modulation, PSIM channel coding, PSIM multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) configurations, among other examples.

A transmitting device (e.g., a user equipment (UE) or base station) may reduce a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) by clipping signals transmitted to a receiving device according to a clipping level. The receiving device may receive, from the transmitting device, an indication of the clipping level associated with a reference signal. The receiving device may receive the reference signal and identify distortions based on the clipping level. The receiving device may iteratively reconstruct peaks of the clipped reference signal until the receiving device is able to obtain accurate pilot symbols for use in channel estimation. The techniques described herein may enable receiving devices to improve efficiency and reliability of communications by improving channel estimation, which may increase the probability of successfully decoding transmitted information.

A wireless communication device interleaves a plurality of code block segments in time and frequency. The segments are interleaved by mapping a first code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a first resource located at a first time and a first frequency, wherein the first code block segment is associated with a first code block, and mapping a second code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a second resource based on at least one of the first time or the first frequency of the first resource and a code block proximity parameter, wherein the second code block segment is associated with a second code block different from the first code block. The device then transmits the plurality of interleaved code block segments. Other features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently reporting channel state feedback for a set of subbands. As an example, a user equipment (UE) may receive a set of reference signals on the set of subbands and determine a respective channel quality indicator (CQI) index for each of the set of subbands based on the reference signals. The UE may then transmit indications of CQI indices for different subbands of the set using variable length indications, such as indications that include different numbers of bits. Since, in some examples, a small length or number of bits may be allocated for reporting CQI indices with a high probability of being reported, overhead in a wireless communications system may be reduced.

摘要: A method for wireless communication includes monitoring a channel of a radio frequency spectrum band using at least a first receiver and a second receiver in parallel; determining, during the monitoring, at least a first received signal strength of a first receiver output of the first receiver, and a second received signal strength of a second receiver output of the second receiver; and selecting, based on the first received signal strength and the second received signal strength, one or both of the first receiver output or the second receiver output for use in decoding a candidate information signal of unknown signal strength. The first and second receivers are set to first and second fixed gain state providing the first and second receivers with first and second dynamic ranges. The second dynamic range partially overlaps the first dynamic range to provide the wireless device an extended dynamic range.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some systems may support digital post-distortion (DPoD) processing at a base station. In some such systems, a user equipment (UE) may process a data message for transmission, where a resulting signal associated with the data message includes non-linear characteristics that are handled by DPoD on the receiver-side. The non-linear characteristics may cause the signal to leak into out-of-band (OOB) resources, potentially resulting in interference. In some examples, the UE may transmit the data message to the base station in a multi-user system. To support mitigation of non-linear interference on signaling by other UEs, the UE may additionally transmit pilot signals in OOB resources (e.g., in addition to in-band resources) where the non-linearity may be expected to negatively affect other communications. The base station may use the OOB pilot signals to perform channel estimation and interference mitigation.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a request to report one or more frequency corrections, the request including an indication of one or more reporting parameters for the one or more frequency corrections. The network entity may transmit a set of one or more reference signals associated with performing the one or more frequency corrections at the UE. The UE may monitor for the set of one or more reference signals and transmit, to the network entity, a report indicating the one or more frequency corrections in accordance with the one or more reporting parameters. The UE may transmit the report according to a periodicity, according to a trigger, or both indicated in the one or more reporting parameters. The network entity may perform channel estimations based on the report indicating the one or more frequency corrections.
