    Abstract: A display device includes: a display unit including a first display area, and a second display area; a scan driver configured to provide a scan signal to each scan line connected to the plurality of first pixels and the plurality of second pixels; and an emission controller configured to provide an emission control signal to each emission control line connected to the plurality of first pixels and the plurality of second pixels, wherein the plurality of first pixels have a first density in the first display area, the plurality of second pixels have a second density less than the first density in the second display area, and the plurality of second pixels include at least one sub pixel including one boosting capacitor.

    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a first display area and a second display area. The first display area includes first pixel areas, each including one or more first pixels. The second display area includes second pixel areas including one or more second pixels and a light transmittance area having a higher light transmittance than the second pixel area. The first and second display areas include a common electrode that transmits a constant common voltage. The common electrode in the second display area includes patterned regions that correspond to a first light transmittance area included in the light transmittance area. A thickness of the common electrode in the patterned regions is smaller than a thickness of the common electrode in a region other than the patterned regions or equals zero. The patterned regions and the second pixel areas extend alternately along a first direction in the second display area.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display area configured to include a plurality of pixels and a plurality of data lines connected to the pixels. A hole area is disposed within the display area. A hole crack detection line is disposed adjacent to the hole area and surrounds the hole area. The device includes first and second detection lines which include first and second detection transfer lines and first and second detection receiving lines, respectively. A test controller electrically connects the first detection receiving line to a first data line and the second detection receiving line to a second data line. Pixels connected to the first data line that is connected to a first bright-line transistor and pixels connected to the second data line that is connected to a second bright-line transistor are configured to emit light when a crack occurs in the hole crack detection line.
