Abstract: A method and an apparatus for notification of a message reception according to a property of a received message are disclosed. A first terminal receives a message transmitted from a second terminal, determines a notification method corresponding to the received message based on a result of the analysis of the received message, and then outputs a notification signal according to the determined notification method.
