摘要： An electronic control apparatus can be reduced in size and cost by eliminating certain parts such as a power board, etc. The apparatus includes a housing, a heat sink attached to one end of the housing, semiconductor switching elements mounted on the heat sink, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink, and a plurality of conductive plates electrically connecting the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements. The heat sink is composed of a heat sink main body, and an anodized aluminum film formed at least on a surface of the heat sink main body at a side at which the power device is mounted thereon, and the heat sink main body has outer peripheral end faces arranged in opposition to inner wall surfaces of an opening portion of the housing.

摘要： A drive control unit alone can be replaced without detaching an electric power steering apparatus from a gear housing. A motor housing of an electric motor, which outputs assist torque to a steering wheel of a vehicle, and a drive housing of the drive control unit, which controls the driving of the electric motor, are coupled to each other at a mating surface in a surface to surface contact manner, and the drive housing and the gear housing are coupled with each other on the same axis. A location of connection, at which a power supply input terminal block of the electric motor and power supply bus bars of the drive control unit are connected to each other by us of screws, is arranged at a joint location at which the motor housing and the drive housing are joined to each other by screws.

摘要： An electronic control apparatus can be reduced in size and cost by removing a metal substrate part. The apparatus includes a housing having a pair of opening portions at its opposite sides, a heat sink attached to one of the opening portions of the housing, a pair of semiconductor switching elements mounted on the heat sink, a circuit board arranged in opposition to the heat sink, a plurality of conductive plates electrically connecting the circuit board and the semiconductor switching elements to each other, and a plate spring urging the semiconductor switching elements against the heat sink. The plate spring has engagement portions press-fitted to and engaged with inner sides of holding portions which are formed on the housing, and the housing has engagement portions engaged with protruded portions of the heat sink.

摘要： An electric power steering removes external wiring connecting between an electric motor and a control unit, whereby the influence of radiation noise caused by a PWM operation can be reduced. In addition, the heat radiation and assemblability of the electric motor and the control unit can be improved, while achieving high power output. A housing 64 with a metal substrate 61 fixedly secured thereto is arranged at a side opposite to an electric motor 30. The cooling fins are formed on an outer side of a housing 64 and on an outer side and an inner side of a cover 65. A metal substrate 61, a large current substrate 62 and a control substrate 63 are arranged inside of the housing 64 and the cover 65 in a laminated structure.

摘要： An electric power system having an electric motor, a speed-reduction mechanism, a power board on which components generating heat are mounted, a control board on which components generating little heat are mounted, a circuit case, and a heat sink for dissipating heat from the power board. A conductive board for wiring is insert-molded in the circuit case. The power board is brought into intimate contact with the heat sink. The circuit case is mounted to the heat sink so as to cover the power board. The control board is mounted to the circuit case. The power board, the circuit case, and the control board are stacked on top of each other in this order to constitute a controller. The motor is mounted to the heat sink by support members. The heat sink is mounted to the speed-reduction mechanism.
