摘要： An optical apparatus includes: an optical imaging system having an image stabilizing lens, the image stabilizing lens being shifted in directions orthogonal to an optical axis for camera shake correction; image correcting means for making an image correction for image information captured through the optical imaging system; an imager device configured to convert the image information obtained through the optical imaging system into an electric signal; camera shake detecting means for detecting camera shake occurring at the optical imaging system; and lens drive means for shifting the image stabilizing lens in the directions orthogonal to the optical axis based on a detection result obtained by the camera shake detecting means. A center of correction to be used in the image correcting means is shifted with respect to a read image center on the imager device depending on a distance and a direction of the shifting of the image stabilizing lens.

The screw member includes a male screw, and a shaft having an outside diameter equal or less than an inside diameter of a female threaded member, the shaft extending from an end of the male screw, the end being at an opposite direction to a direction in which the engagement section is in abutment with the end of the female threaded member. The female threaded member is disposed such that the female threaded member can move along the male screw and can move from the male screw to a spot on the shaft in abutment with the male screw.

摘要： The present invention relates to an optical unit including a collapsible lens and an image-pickup apparatus including the optical unit, in which particularly the collapsible lens may become further thinner and an optical filter may forcibly be made to escape from a position on its optical axis to a position off the optical axis on an abnormal occasion when an escape mechanism does not work and so on at the time of retracting, that is, at the time of collapsing the collapsible lens. The collapsible optical unit according to the present invention having a fixed barrel, a lens barrel movable along a direction of its optical axis with respect to the fixed barrel, and a lens and an infrared cutoff filter provided between the fixed barrel and lens barrel includes the escape mechanism for making the infrared cutoff filter move in a direction intersecting the optical axis and escape off the optical axis when the lens barrel is collapsed to approach the infrared cutoff filter, which enables the lens to be retracted in a resulting position on the optical axis after the infrared cutoff filter has moved. According to the above, when collapsing the optical unit, the lens held by the lens barrel can be retracted into a space on the optical axis made after the infrared cutoff filter made to escape in the direction intersecting the optical axis. Hence, a total length of the collapsible lens of the optical unit can be made thinner and the optical unit can be made smaller in size.
