摘要: Techniques are disclosed for providing a notification that a person is at a particular location. For example, a resident device may receive from a user device an image that shows a face of a first person, the image being captured by a first camera of the user device. The resident device may also receive, from another device having a second camera, a second image showing a portion of a face of a second person, the second camera having a viewable area showing a particular location. The resident device may determine a score indicating a level of similarity between a first set of characteristics associated with the face of the first person and a second set of characteristics associated with the face of a second person. The resident device may then provide to the user device a notification based on determining the score.

摘要: An image compression sampling method and assembly are provided. The method includes: performing sparse representation on a target image by using an initial sparse matrix, quantifying an initial sparse representation result to obtain an optimized sparse representation result, and obtaining an optimized sparse matrix; constructing a product matrix by using the optimized sparse matrix and an initial measurement matrix, and adjusting absolute values of off-diagonal elements in the product matrix to be less than a correlation threshold; performing singular value decomposition on the product matrix to obtain a diagonal matrix and a left singular matrix, and updating the diagonal matrix according to a quantity of samplings of the initial measurement matrix; and optimizing the initial measurement matrix by using the left singular matrix and the updated diagonal matrix to obtain an optimized measurement matrix, and collecting image data by using the optimized sparse matrix and the optimized measurement matrix.

摘要: An apparatus is provided for decoding last position information indicating a horizontal position and a vertical position of a last non-zero coefficient in a predetermined order within a current block to be decoded, the current block being included in a picture and including a plurality of coefficients. The apparatus includes one or more processors, a communication unit, and storage coupled to the one or more processors and the communication unit. The communication unit is configured to transmit a request for a bitstream to an external system, and receive the bitstream from the external system. The one or more processors are configured to obtain the bitstream, perform first arithmetic decoding, perform second arithmetic decoding, derive a horizontal component of the last position information, and derive a vertical component of the last position. A system for decoding and a displaying method are also provided.

The compression system receives an uncompressed image file with data points that are defined with absolute values for elements representing the data point position in a space. The compression system stores the absolute values defined for a first data point in a compressed image file, determines a difference between the absolute values of the first data point and the absolute values of a second data point, derives a relative value for the absolute values of the second data point from the difference, and stores the relative value in place of the absolute values of the second data point in the compressed image file.

摘要: A system and method for automatically (without human intervention) identifying a material in an image that comprises a building material for buildings in the image. Building side polygons which may be used to identify building sides in off-nadir imagery are generated. Off-nadir, multispectral images, building footprint data and elevation data for a geographic area are taken as input. Building heights for buildings in the geographic area are determined by clipping the elevation data using the building footprint data and then calculating building heights. A candidate set of polygons representing visible side faces of each building in the images is created from the known building heights, and based on the viewpoint direction, using vector analysis. After culling occluded polygons and polygons too small for analysis, the polygons are associated with a building footprint. Building materials for each building having visible polygons can then be identified.

摘要: According to an embodiment, an encoding device includes an index setting unit and an encoding unit. The index setting unit generates a common index in which reference indices of one or more reference images included in a first index and a second index are sorted in a combination so as not to include a same reference image in accordance with a predetermined scanning order. The first index representing a combination of the one or more reference images referred to by a first reference image. The second index representing a combination of the one or more reference images referred to by a second reference image. The encoding unit encodes the common index.
