摘要: A driver module can perform a conversion from a device dependent bit map to a device independent bit map. The driver module includes a configuration to compare a previously received device dependent bit map to a most recently received device dependent bit map. If the two bit maps are equivalent, the driver module generates a printer control language file for an imaging operation using a device independent bit map previously generated from the previously received device dependent bit map. If the two bit maps are not equivalent, the driver module generates a printer control language file for an imaging operation using a device independent bit map generated from the most recently received device dependent bit map.

摘要: Computer implemented techniques for performing transliteration of input text in a first character set to a second character set are disclosed. The techniques include receiving input text and determining a set of possible transliterations of the input text based on a plurality of mapping standards. Each mapping standard defines a mapping of characters in the first character set to characters in the second character set. The techniques further include determining a set of candidate words in the target language based on the possible transliterations and a text corpus. The techniques also include determining a likelihood score for each one of the candidate words based on a language model in the target language previously received words. The techniques also include providing one or more candidate words based on the likelihood scores and receiving a user selection indicating one of the candidate words.

摘要: Idle processor cores can be used to compile methods that are likely to be executed by a program based on profile data that is captured during one or more previous executions. Methods that are determined by the profile data to be likely to be used can be compiled eagerly on one or more background threads. Transparency can be achieved by ensuring that module load order is not altered because of the background threads by recording the state of loaded modules after each profiled compilation, persisting that data, and waiting to eagerly compile a method until the method to be compiled and all its dependencies has been loaded by the executing program.

摘要: Various embodiments can provide a tool aimed at identifying document conditions that can lead to processing bottlenecks when an associated document is consumed, such as by being rendered or printed, by a particular device. In at least some embodiments, the tool can identify or diagnose such conditions and report those conditions to an appropriate entity, such as a device that produced the associated document and/or an individual who caused the document to be produced. The reporting functionality may include, in at least some embodiments, remedial recommendations aimed at mitigating the diagnosed conditions.

摘要: Various embodiments can be used to process packages or documents that contain markup language describing one or more documents. Markup language descriptions can be processed to identify certain objects that reoccur or are repeated in the markup language description. If a re-occurring or repeating object is encountered in the markup language description, a resource dictionary can be used to catalog such objects and, an associated object model can include, from the resource dictionary, references to a re-occurring or repeating object. By using the resource dictionary as such, memory resources can be conserved when an in-memory representation of the object model is built.
