摘要： A control device for an electric hob has a control element placed on a support. Circular ring segmental surfaces are provided as signal generators beneath the support. On the top side and underside, the control element has numerous electrically interconnected, circular ring segmental surfaces, the lower surfaces being above the signal generators during rotation. The application of a finger to a contact surface on the control element top side is directly coupled to a sensor surface on the control element underside and can be capacitively detected by a directly facing signal generator and evaluated as a corresponding control function by a control device.

摘要： A control device for converting a control movement along a control path into a control signal has the control path corresponding to different control stages or control types. The control device has two measuring tracks with a linearly changing resistance associated with each track. In one embodiment, these measuring tracks are positioned concentric to each other in a semicircle. A voltage U, which is tapped via two opposite interconnected sliders, is applied to both measuring tracks at a junction point while the other junction point is connected to ground. If the detected values of the tapped voltages deviate from a corresponding stored value or pairs of values, there must be a fault, due to, for example a broken slider. This makes it possible to perform a test for determining the fault or a malfunctioning control device.

摘要： An operating device and an electrical appliance provided with said operating device is disclosed. The electrical appliance comprises light barriers mounted on a frame that rests on a worktop. The light barriers can detect whether a finger is placed on one or more of the control panels for operation or controlling of said operating device or said electrical appliance. The control panels are arranged along one line in front of the light barriers. The control panels are provided at the top thereof with corresponding identifications, for example in the form of symbols. By moving the control panels away from the actual housing of the electrical appliance it is possible to provide larger heated surfaces for the cooking places.

摘要： A grounding arrangement for a normally ungrounded multi-phase powerline system, which also carries dc information signals. A resistance and a spark gap device are provided in a path between system neutral and a ground. Upon the occurrence of a predetermined fault condition the spark gap device will conduct, and if the voltage developed across the resistance is of a predetermined value, a current bypass path is established around the spark gap device after a predetermined time delay.
