    摘要: A control device for converting a control movement along a control path into a control signal has the control path corresponding to different control stages or control types. The control device has two measuring tracks with a linearly changing resistance associated with each track. In one embodiment, these measuring tracks are positioned concentric to each other in a semicircle. A voltage U, which is tapped via two opposite interconnected sliders, is applied to both measuring tracks at a junction point while the other junction point is connected to ground. If the detected values of the tapped voltages deviate from a corresponding stored value or pairs of values, there must be a fault, due to, for example a broken slider. This makes it possible to perform a test for determining the fault or a malfunctioning control device.

    摘要: A method and the associated device for detecting cooking or boiling processes in a glass ceramic hob are described, to which power is supplied by a power supply by means of a heating element and said power is transmitted to the cooking vessel standing thereon. During a cooking process a temperature profile of the hob is measured and evaluated. The temperature profile is evaluated after ending the power supply and for evaluation purposes a temperature profile gradient is determined. During evaluation, a normal cooking or boiling process is detected if the gradient exceeds a predetermined threshold. During evaluation, a disturbed or faulty cooking or boiling process is detected if the gradient is equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold. Such a disturbed or faulty cooking or boiling process can arise through the cooking vessel boiling dry or empty.

    摘要: An operator control device for functional adjustment of a functional device includes an operator control knob which has an off position in which the operator control device is deactivated. Said knob can be brought into a working position for functional adjustment purposes. The working position is predetermined by a lock-in position, and, starting from the working position, the operator control knob can be pulled out of the operator control device or pressed into the operator control device against a counterforce which increases as the distance from the working position increases. Here, the operator control device includes a movement detection means for detecting movement of the operator control knob out of the working position in one direction or in the other direction. The movement detection means is connected to a controller of the operator control device so as to carry out functional adjustment in a manner dependent on the detected movement.

The operating toggle (19) also has a proximity sensor (27). If a hand (29) approaches the operating toggle (19) for operation, this is detected by the proximity sensor and it brings the actuator (23) from a current-economizing standby mode into a normal mode, where it operates normally. If the hand (29) is removed again, it is again brought into the standby mode.

    摘要: An operating device for an electric hob comprises a plurality of touch pads as touch points, in which operation takes place by applying a finger to specific defined touch points. The touch pads may be in themselves structurally movable separately of the electric hob or the operating device. The touch pads comprise individual coding circuits which can be accomplished by way of modulation of an electromagnetic field. The operating device has an electrode surface for attachment next to the electric appliance, on which the touch pads are arranged. Capacitive coupling is formed between the touch pads and the electrode surface. The operating device comprises a drive and evaluation device connected to the electrode surface both for detecting touching of a touch pad in general and for detecting and differentiating between touching of a specific touch pad and touching of another touch pad as indicated by the individual coding circuit.
