摘要: An organic EL panel formed by interposing a resin layer between a sealing cover and a substrate on which an organic EL device section has been formed, making it possible to dispense with a hardening treatment of the resin layer, thereby avoiding an organic EL device deterioration possibly caused by the hardening treatment and at the same time simplifying the manufacturing process. A substrate on which an organic EL device section has been formed, is bonded with a sealing cover which if necessary is provided with a desiccating member, through the resin layer interposed therebetween. The resin layer is formed of a high molecular elastomer, making it possible to dispense with the hardening treatment of the resin layer.

摘要: In an air ionizing apparatus of a type utilizing a sheath gas not containing water (hydrogen) or impurities to sheathe corona electrodes, sufficient amount of ions are generated to fully eliminate static electricity from the interior of a production environment such as a clean room and to prevent the impurities from depositing on the corona electrodes. The tips of corona electrodes 21a and 21b are positioned inwardly of the tips of sheath gas nozzles 4a and 4b, respectively, by a certain distance. The distance is so determined that for a sheath gas containing no negative gaseous molecules, electrons emitted by corona discharge can reach air existing outside the sheath gas nozzle 4b and that for a sheath gas containing the negative gaseous molecules, negative ions emitted by corona discharge can rapidly disperse into the air outside the sheath gas nozzle 4b without remaining in the interior of the nozzle 4b.

摘要: A method and apparatus for determining an optical disc type. A light beam is directed at an optical disc, and a focal point of the light beam moves in a focus direction with respect to the optical disc. An intensity of a reflection of the light beam from the optical disc is detected during the movement of the focal point of the light beam. A time interval between occurrences of a plurality of peaks of the detected intensity of the reflected light beam is detected, and the optical disc type is determined according to the detected time interval.

摘要: A conveying device prevents slip or disengagement of a conveying endless belt. The belt has an flat outer periphery, which is to be contact with one of the major faces of the bank note to be conveyed, and an inner periphery having a plurality of teeth formed thereon. A drive pulley and a driven pulley are both cylindrical and have a plurality of gear teeth formed on their outer peripheries. The teeth of each of the pulleys may be engageable with the plurality of teeth of the endless belt. Between the drive pulley and the driven pulley, the endless belt is tensioned and a belt drive mechanism for rotating the drive pulley is provided. Each pulley has a flange which has a larger outer diameter than that of each pulley and provided at one end portion thereof in which each of the rotary shaft extends.
