Abstract: The present disclosure describes methods, systems, and devices for selecting a resource in wireless communication. A specific configuration and an associated applicable condition is transmitted from a user equipment to a base station. The specific configuration indicates includes a synchronization signal block (SSB) subset of a plurality of SSBs and/or an SSB reference signal received power (RSRP) threshold. An SSB is selected based on the specific configuration if the associated applicable condition is met. A RACH resource is selected based on the selected SSB. A RACH preamble is transmitted on the selected RACH resource.

Abstract: In wireless communication, a device may handover between cells of network access for inter-cell mobility without interruptions. In a Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) handover, the user equipment (UE) maintains simultaneous connection with the source node and target node until releasing the source cell after successful access to the target cell. The source node may generate the power coordination and/or resource coordination parameters or configurations that are transmitted to the target node during the handover. When there is a centralized unit (CU) split from a distributed unit (DU), the CU or DU may generate and/or transmit the parameters/configurations to the peer node.

Abstract: This disclosure generally relates performing UE authentication and registration with the core network, and in particular, to supporting secure interactions between the UE and the target AMF when the UE is re-allocated to the target AMF. After the UE initiates a first registration request, the initial AMF may retrieve a candidate AMF list and selects a target AMF to serve the UE. The initial AMF generates a 5G-GUTI for the UE, based on the selected target AMF. The initial AMF requests the UE to initiate a second registration request, by using the generated 5G-GUTI. With the solutions provided in this disclosure, the message interactions between the UE and the target AMF are integrity protected and/or ciphered, without the need to upgrade the UE and without using an indirect connection of the core network.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to wireless communication formats that avoid conflicts in message transmissions. In one implementation, conflicts are avoided by determining that transmitting the uplink message according to a first transmission format will result in a conflict, and responsively determining to transmit the uplink message according to a second transmission format. In another implementation, conflicts are avoided by waiting to transmit a message part until a next time unit of a physical channel that is not conflicted. In another implementation, conflicts are avoided by configuring time units of a second physical channel relative to time units of a first physical channel according to an uplink time unit offset.
