    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for reducing Peak Average Power Ratio (PAPR) in signal transmissions are described. In one example aspect, a wireless communication method includes determining, for an input sequence, an output sequence. The output sequence corresponds to an output of a convolutional modulation between a set of coefficients and an intermediate sequence. The intermediate sequence is generated by inserting N zero coefficients between coefficients of the input sequence. The number of non-zero coefficients in the set of coefficients is based on N, N being a positive integer. Values of the non-zero coefficients correspond to values between 0 to π/2 to reduce a peak to average power ratio of the output sequence. The method also includes generating a waveform using the output sequence.

The method includes operating, by a communication device, a first transmission band associated with a first numerology. The first transmission band comprises a first subcarrier spacing Δf1 and a first symbol length of T1 in time domain. The method includes operating, by the communication device, a second transmission band associated with a second numerology. The second transmission band comprises a second subcarrier spacing Δf2. The method also includes operating, by the communication device, a third transmission band positioned between the first transmission band and the second transmission band. The third transmission band comprises a subcarrier spacing equal to the second subcarrier spacing Δf2 and a symbol length equal to the first symbol length T1.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and devices for configuring guard subcarriers in transmission subbands to reduce interband interference in a wireless communication network. In one implementation, the method may include determining that a first subcarrier spacing for a first radio frequency transmission band is less than a second subcarrier spacing for a second radio frequency transmission band, and the first radio frequency transmission band is close to the second radio frequency transmission band in frequency spectrum. The method may further include configuring a subcarrier of the first radio frequency transmission band as a guard subcarrier carrying dummy data when the first radio frequency transmission band and the second radio frequency transmission band are simultaneously used to transmit data loads.

The method includes determining a set of modulated time-domain symbols each having a length of N×T1 by modulating the set of time-domain symbols using a waveform function, where N is a real number greater than 1. The method includes transmitting the set of modulated time-domain symbols.

    Abstract: Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a data modulating and demodulating method, a data transmission method and node for multi-carrier system.
