摘要： Practice barrels for use with practice cartridges are described herein. An example practice device for use with self-loading grenade launchers includes a practice barrel having a practice cartridge chamber to receive a practice cartridge. A live cartridge does not correspond to the practice cartridge chamber. Additionally, the live cartridge is unable to be properly positioned within the practice barrel to prevent ignition of the live cartridge. Further, the practice cartridge chamber is cushioned to substantially absorb a breech energy to substantially prevent damage to the practice barrel.

摘要： Machine guns having detachable barrels and methods of operating the same are disclosed. An illustrated example firearm includes a housing; a removable barrel; a latch to releasably secure the barrel in the housing, the latch having a released state and a secured state; and a carrying handle movable between a rest position and a carry position. The carrying handle cooperates with the latch such that the latch can only be moved into the released state to permit removal of the barrel when the carrying handle is at least substantially in the carry position.

An example gas bleed assembly for use with a firearm having a barrel includes a gas cylinder that defines at least one gas outlet to be fluidly coupled to a bore of a barrel. The gas cylinder is substantially fixed relative to the barrel. Additionally the example gas bleed assembly includes a holding fixture that is substantially fixed relative to a housing having a front edge. The holding fixture interacts with the at least one gas outlet. A temperature induced variation of geometry of the barrel changes a position of the gas cylinder relative to the holding fixture and wherein a pressure acting within the gas cylinder is associated with the position of the at least one gas outlet relative to the holding fixture.

摘要： Mounting devices for firearms and methods of mounting the same are disclosed. An example mounting device for use with a firearm includes a clamping device, with which the mounting device can be optionally clamped to the firearm. The clamping device includes a rigid clamping jaw arrangement, a movable clamping jaw arrangement opposite the rigid clamping jaw arrangement, and a swiveling lever. The swiveling lever is coupled to a spring device that locks the movable clamping jaw arrangement, and the spring device has a first spring arrangement, which loads the swiveling lever in an opening direction over an entire unlocking path, and a second spring arrangement, which applies a much greater spring tension than the first spring arrangement. The second spring arrangement also loads the swiveling lever via a spring travel in the opening direction and minimizes the spring travel to maintain the seat of the mounting device with respect to the firearm.

摘要： A cocking trigger mechanism is disclosed. The cocking trigger mechanism includes a hammer element that is moveable between a front position and a rear position, and a drive part that is moveable between an uncocked position and a cocked position. The drive part is arranged to entrain the hammer element during its movement into the uncocked position. A striker spring biases the drive part into the uncocked position. A trigger causes movement of the drive part against the force of the striker spring from the uncocked position to the cocked position and actuates its release. When the drive part is moved independently of the trigger into the cocked position, it is held in this position until subsequent operation of the trigger. The hammer element is connected to a return spring that forces it into a rest position that is situated near its front position as long as the trigger is not operated so that it always assumes a defined position.

摘要： A trigger arrangement for an automatic weapon with switch-over between continuous firing and single-shot modes includes a hammer, a breechblock, a latch, a pivotably mounted trigger, and a firing lever. In the single-shot mode, the firing lever engages the hammer and retains it in tension while the trigger is depressed. When the continuous firing mode is selected, the firing lever is moved to an inactive position and retained by an engaging element. The engaging element is preferably a slider which is controlled by a safety and firing cessation roller that is actuated by an operating lever.
