Abstract: An adjustable kettlebell includes a cradle safety mechanism and a kettlebell safety mechanism. The cradle safety mechanism includes a position sensor that detects whether the kettlebell is in the cradled position and prevents a motor from rotating to change the weight of the kettlebell if the kettlebell is in the uncradled position. The kettlebell safety mechanism includes a dial retractable into the handle of the kettlebell. When the dial is retracted into the kettlebell, a selection mechanism cannot be rotated to change a weight of the kettlebell.

Abstract: An adjustment pin for an exercise device includes a knob, a bushing, and a cylindrical body. The bushing partially inserts into the knob and a fastener passes through the bushing to connect to the knob with a threaded connection. The fastener connects the bushing to the knob with a rotatable connection such that the knob and the bushing can rotate with respect to each other. The cylindrical body securely connects to the bushing such that the knob is indirectly and rotatably connected to the cylindrical body. The knob can rotate without unscrewing from the adjustment pin.

Abstract: An exercise machine includes an exercise element that is movable during a performance of a programmed workout, wherein the programmed workout includes an exercise performed using one or more free weights. The exercise machine also includes a console that incorporates a display and a speaker, one or more processors, and memory storing programmed instructions of the programmed workout that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to automatically control, by the programmed instructions of the programmed workout, an operating parameter of the exercise element during the performance of the programmed workout and automatically present, by the programmed instructions of the programmed workout, exercise instructions regarding alternating use of the exercise element and of the one or more free weights during the performance of the programmed workout.

Abstract: An adjustable kettlebell system includes a base having a rod extending from the base. A selector is threaded onto the rod. The rod and selector extend through a plurality of weight supports. Each weight support is connected to an underlying weight support with a connector. As the selector is moved along the length of the rod by rotating the rod, the selector causes the connector to disengage with the underlying weight support. The adjustable kettlebell is then removed without the underlying weight support connected to the handle.

Abstract: A stationary bicycle includes pedals incorporated into the stationary bicycle and configured to be movable with respect to a frame of the stationary bicycle during execution of a programmed workout, wherein the programmed workout includes an exercise performed using one or more free weights. The stationary bicycle includes a display, one or more processors, and memory storing programmed instructions of the programmed workout that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to automatically alternate between biking portions of the programmed workout and lifting portions of the programed workout, automatically control a resistance level of the pedals during the biking portions of the programmed workout, and automatically present lifting instructions on the display, the lifting instructions configured to instruct a user on lifting the one or more free weights during the lifting portions of the programmed workout.

In one aspect of the disclosure, a method may include executing a video workout program on first and second exercise machines, monitoring first and second performance parameters of first and second users during the execution of the video workout program, displaying a leaderboard which displays and ranks first and second performance indicators of the first and second users based on the first and second performance parameters, detecting an irregularity in the first performance parameters of the first user, and updating the leaderboard to display an irregularity flag associated with the first performance indicator of the first user to indicate the irregularity in the performance of the first user during the workout.
