Abstract: Athletic performance sensing and/or tracking systems include components for measuring or sensing athletic performance data and/or for storing and/or displaying desired information associated with the athletic performance to the user (or others). Such systems can allow users a wide variety of options in creating workouts, selecting and presenting media content during the athletic performance, etc., e.g., to help keep users entertained and motivated. In some instances, user feedback may be used, optionally in combination with objective data relating to a workout, to control features of the workout routine, to control the music or other media content selected and/or presented, and/or to control features of future workout routines and/or the presented media content.

Abstract: An electronic device may comprise audio processing circuitry, pace tracking circuitry, and positioning circuitry. The pace tracking circuitry may be operable to selects a tempo of songs for playback, by the audio processing circuitry based on position data generated by the positioning circuitry, a desired tempo, and whether the songs are stored locally or network-accessible. The position data may indicate the pace of a runner during a preceding, determined time interval. The pace tracking circuitry may control the song selection and/or time stretching based on a runner profile data stored in memory of the music device. The profile data may include runner's distance-per-stride data. The electronic device may include sensors operable to function as a pedometer. The pace tracking circuitry may update the distance-per-stride data based on the position data and based on data output by the one or more sensors.

Abstract: Techniques for providing acoustic feedback are disclosed. Several audio clips have a synchronized beat. A sensor signal received from a sensor has a sensor signal range divided by first and second thresholds into at least three sensor signal sub-ranges. An audio signal is output in response to the received sensor signal, the output audio signal comprising one or more of the audio clips. If the received sensor signal exceeds the first threshold, at least one of the one or more audio clips is discontinued and/or at least one additional audio clip of the audio clips is initiated in synchronization with the one or more audio clips. If the received sensor signal falls below the second threshold, at least one of the one or more audio clips is discontinued and/or at least one additional audio clip of the audio clips is initiated in synchronization with the one or more audio clips.

Abstract: Automatic swimming analysis and nearly immediate feedback on a user device is disclosed. A sensor placed on a swimmer's waistline instantaneously measures data of the swim, allows to upload this data to a cloud system performing immediate analysis using algorithms. The cloud system provides feedback which helps determine proper (or improper) swimming techniques, comparing patterns to own past swims or to professional swimmers. The sensor enables stroke improvement with output including graphs, single numerical values, and detailed single-stroke data. The output provides both easy to understand metrics for amateur swimmers as well as more technical analysis options for advanced users. Metrics for amateurs can include swim symmetry analysis, speed consistency analysis, and stroke consistency analysis. More technical/detailed information includes comparison of strokes of each arm to the other, comparison of strokes made by left and right arms, mathematical analyses of strokes, and average, maximum, minimum, and instantaneous speeds.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are devices, systems, and methods for officiating, spectating, and scorekeeping for flag football games using one or more wirelessly interconnected electronic devices. In some embodiments, a plurality of graphical user interfaces are provided on a mobile electronic device, the interfaces allowing game officials to create games that are visible to spectators, players, coaches, and statisticians/scorekeepers on a shared geographic map. After spectators, players, coaches, and/or statisticians/scorekeepers join a game, an official inputs information regarding timing and scorekeeping of the game to an interface of a mobile device carried by the official, and the inputted information is broadcasted from the official's device to mobile devices of spectators, players, and coaches, where it is displayed in real-time on graphical user interfaces of the receiving devices. The interfaces may facilitate real-time synchronization of a play-clock and/or go-clock amongst officials, spectators, players, coaches, and/or statisticians/scorekeepers.

Abstract: One or more accelerometers embedded with an earbud and/or a set of earphones are able to sense a moving pace of a user. Based on a moving pace of the user, a signal is sent to a remotely connected electronic device. The electronic device is able to separately increase and decrease a beat or rhythm of the audio from the electronic device based on a pace of the user. In some embodiments, an audio alert is sent to the user to inform the user of pace and whether the user has increased or decreased their pace. Additionally, in some embodiments, a program stored on the electronic device is used to compare the user's current progress and/or speed based on past runs and workouts.
