    Abstract: A module comprises a display element, a first polarizing element, a light sensor, a transparent layer, and a second polarizing element. The display element emits a display light source. The first polarizing element covers the display element, and blocks a first phase portion of the display light source and allows a second phase portion of the display light source to penetrate. The transparent layer covers the first polarizing element. The light sensor is disposed on one side of the display element or the first polarizing element. The second polarizing element is disposed between the light sensor and the transparent layer and blocks a second phase portion of the display light source.

    Abstract: An operation method of a proximity sensor comprises: controlling a light-emitting element by a processing circuit. Such control includes a plurality of light source on and light source off operations. An optical sensor receives light and outputs a sensing signal corresponding to the intensity of the light. The processing circuit computes the sensing signal to produce a sensing result. The plurality of light source on and light source off operations includes a group having two light sources on operations and two light sources off operations. The two light sources on operations in the group or the two light sources off operations in the group are performed consecutively. In this way, the ambient light components of the light source on and off operations may cancel out each other to reduce the ambient light components contained in the sensing results.

    Abstract: A light sensor and control method thereof, which controls the light sensor comprising a first light emitted element, a second light emitted element, a first light sensing element and a control circuit. The light wavelength of the second light emitted element is greater than the light wavelength of the first light emitted element. The control circuit is coupled to the first and second light elements and the first light sensing element. When the display of an electronic device is in a light-up status, the control circuit switches on the first light emitted element to emit light; when the display of the electronic device is in a light-off status, the control circuit switches on the second light emitted element to emit light. Thus, it will prevent from the influence to the image of the display, and obtained the better sensing ability.

    Abstract: The present application provides a transmission structure of an antenna and a proximity sensing circuit. The transmission structure includes a transmission line and at least one radio-frequency short-circuit element, a first coupling end of the transmission line is coupled to an antenna, and a second coupling end of the transmission line is coupled to a proximity sensing circuit, and the at least one radio-frequency short-circuit element is coupled between the transmission line and a ground, and is located between the antenna and the proximity sensing circuit. Utilizing the at least one radio-frequency short-circuit element in conjunction with the transmission line so that the transmission path between the antenna and the proximity sensing circuit has the high impedance, and hence preventing a radio-frequency signal from the antenna from affecting the sensing accuracy of the proximity sensing circuit.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a display system with a light sensor and a control method thereof. The display system comprises a display module and a light sensor. The display module comprises a driving circuit for generating a driving signal. Said driving signal comprises a plurality of periodic pulse waves. The OFF time of one of the periodic pulse waves is extended to an extended time which is greater than the OFF time of the remaining periodic pulse waves. This ensures that the sensing result of the light sensor may not include the contribution of display light.

    Abstract: A light sensor and a control method thereof are disclosed. The light sensor comprises a light-emitting element, a first light-sensing unit and a second light-sensing unit. The light-emitting element generates an emission signal. The light-sensitive characteristic of the first light-sensing unit corresponds to a first wavelength range. The light-sensitive characteristic of the second light-sensing unit corresponds to a second wavelength range, which is different from the first wavelength range. In this way, when the emission signal is reflected by an object and received by the first light-sensing unit and the second light-sensing unit, the type of the object may be determined based on the difference between the signal sensed by the first light-sensing unit and the signal sensed by the second light-sensing unit.
