摘要: A mobile device has a proximity sensor. A compensation value of the proximity sensor is determined. The compensation value is compared to a reference compensation value to determine validity of the compensation value. A capacitance of the proximity sensor is measured. A value of the capacitance of the proximity sensor is adjusted based on the compensation value. A coefficient defining a relationship between a capacitance of the proximity sensor and a temperature of the mobile device is calculated. A temperature sensor is coupled to the proximity sensor. The temperature of the mobile device is measured. A value of the capacitance of the proximity sensor is adjusted based on the coefficient and the temperature of the mobile device. The adjusted capacitance value is compared to a threshold capacitance value to determine proximity of an object to the mobile device. A radio frequency signal is adjusted by detecting proximity.

摘要: Embodiments described herein include a method for detecting a presence of an input in a capacitive sensing device that includes a sensing region and a plurality of sensor electrodes. The method includes driving a first column of transmitter sensor electrodes at a first potential and driving a second column of transmitter sensor electrodes at a second potential different than the first potential. The method includes acquiring a measurement from each row of sensor electrodes, where a first sensing node includes the first column of transmitter sensor electrodes and a third column of receiver sensor electrodes, and a second sensing node includes the second column of transmitter sensor electrodes and a fourth column of receiver sensor electrodes. The method also includes determining, using the measurements from each row of sensor electrodes, a first set of transcapacitive measurements corresponding to the plurality of sensor electrodes.

摘要: A capacitive proximity detector for use in a connected portable device such as a telephone, laptop or tablet, in which the capacity seen by the sensor electrode is compared with four thresholds: a proximity threshold, set lower than the other, to generate a general proximity flag, and a body detection threshold set higher than the other arranged to generate a body detection flag that indicates that the object in proximity is a part of a human body. Two object detection thresholds in the region between the proximity threshold and the body threshold define a region in which the detector can decide whether the object in proximity is an inanimate object, based on the time variation of the capacity.

摘要: The present invention relates to a tethering type head mounted display (HMD) which is connected to a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the HMD. The HMD, which is connected to a mobile terminal, comprises: a communication unit for performing wired or wireless communication with the mobile terminal; a display unit for outputting image information; a detection unit for detecting a movement of the HMD; and a control unit for controlling the display unit so as to output image information which is controlled according to the result of detecting a movement of the HMD, wherein, when one of predetermined situations occurs, the control unit controls the display unit so as to output image information which is controlled according to a movement detected in the mobile terminal, and when the situation that has occurred ends, the control unit controls the display unit so as to output image information which is controlled according to a movement of the HMD.
