The cutter is curvilinear in shape, and has an elongated handle with a blade projecting from the top end thereof, and a cap adapted to fit over the blade, the cap being so configured that when in place covering the blade, it provides the appearance of a unitary piece to the cutter. The handle has a weight positioned in it eccentric to the central axis thereof, so that when rolled on a flat surface the handle consistently returns to the same position relative to the flat surface.

An excessive force coming from a coating surface is dispersed by stretches of the elastic bodies 60, and the projections 33 and 34 are moved within the respective receiving parts 21 such as slits, thus restricting lateral displacement of the blades.

摘要： A cutting implement has a body with a top and a bottom and one or more blades extending outwardly of the bottom and defining a closed cutting path. In one embodiment, the implement has a cutting depth control. The cutting implement is particularly useful in cutting sections of wall covering. During use, the cutting implement is located adjacent a wall covering so that the blade(s) surround a damaged portion of the covering. Force applied to the top of the implement drives the blade(s) into the covering, creating a severed portion including the damaged area. The severed portion is removed and is preferably replaced by a replacement section of the same size cut with the implement from replacement wall covering.

摘要： The cutter of my invention is a unitary device that does not require a utility knife, only a blade. The cutter exposes twice the blade length of a conventional utility knife, i.e., approximately 2.2 inches. The blade can be extended into the insulation over 4 inches. The cutter has a blade guard (to keep fingers out of the way, etc.). The cutter also has a safety mechanism to guard against accidental exposure of the blade (you have to grip the tool by the handle to allow the blade to be exposed). The cutter also has an added leverage point directly in front of the grip to increase the amount of pressure you can exert on the insulation. This cutter compresses and cut in one continuous motion, i.e. the same motion does both compressing and cutting.

摘要： A carpet trimming tool precisely trims the edge of a carpet to fit against a carpet divider of the type having a linear channel upstanding from the edge of a thin flat flange fastened to the floor. The tool has a hand grip extending upward from a rigid base. Two elongate, straight parallel spaced apart legs extend downward from the base. A first leg has a foot adapted to slide on the carpet. The second leg has a foot adapted to slide in the channel. A carpet cutting blade is removably and adjustably mounted on the second leg so as to cut through the carpet a preset distance from the channel as tool is advanced, guided by the foot in the channel.
