Abstract:
Techniques are provided for proposing automatic corrections of online identifiers, such as an email address or a subject name of a directory entry or a certificate. In an embodiment, one or more computers store domain correction records. Each domain correction record comprises a misspelled domain name and candidate domain name corrections. The computers detect that an unprocessed online identifier is not contained in a plurality of known online identifiers. The unprocessed online identifier comprises a misspelled domain name. Each known online identifier of the plurality of known online identifiers comprises a domain name. The computers retrieve, based on the misspelled domain name of the unprocessed online identifier, from the plurality of domain correction records, a matching domain correction record having a same misspelled domain name as the unprocessed online identifiers. A client device displays the one or more candidate domain name corrections of the matching domain correction record.
Abstract:
Embodiments provide an MTC device communication method, device, and system. A second network element receives, a query message sent by a first network element after the first network element identifies that a type of a received short message is a preset-type short message. The query message comprises an identifier of a receiver of the short message and an identifier of a sender of the short message. The second network element checks whether the sender is authorized to send the preset-type short message to the receiver. The second network element sends a message to the first network element indicating whether or not to send the short message to the receiver.
Abstract:
In a message delivery system wherein messages having topic portion defining a topic and a body portion containing information relating to the defined topic are delivered to subscribers based on the topics associated with the messages, the messages are placed in a queue for delivery, and in the event of congestion one or more of the messages are replaced with discard indication messages containing the topics associated with the discarded messages without the corresponding body portions.
Abstract:
A method for managing a plurality of messages associated with an online messaging system is provided. The method may include receiving a message from a messaging source. The method may also include determining whether the messaging source associated with the received message is trusted. The method may further include tagging the received message or storing the received message, wherein the tagging and the storing is based on the determination that the messaging source is not trusted. The method may additionally include validating the received message.
Abstract:
An information processing system, which includes an electronic apparatus and a service providing system executing a process using e-mail based on a request from the electronic apparatus, includes a process reception part that receives the request, a mail transmission part that transmits the e-mail to which identification information uniquely identifying the request is added and in which the address of the service providing system is set as the return destination of the e-mail, a monitoring part that detects reception of the e-mail returned in response to the failure of the transmission of the e-mail, and identifies the request based on the identification information added to the returned e-mail, and a reporting part that reports the failure as the process result of the request to the process reception part. The process reception part records the failure as the process result of the request in response to the reported failure.
Abstract:
A method for verifying the on-line identity of a subscribed user and securely displaying an indicia in connection with that user's on-line content, wherein the indicia includes an aspect corresponding to the verification level assigned to the subject user's profile.
Abstract:
A reminder information delivery method includes steps of: obtaining reminder information, where the reminder information includes reminding contents, reminding time, and a first account associated with a first communication client; when the reminding time comes, searching for a communication number associated with the first account; and pushing the reminder information to a corresponding communication terminal according to the communication number. By adopting the reminder information delivery method, reminding is implemented in a timely and flexible manner. In addition, a reminder information pushing system is also provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed is Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) server for sharing and controlling electronic devices located at remote locations. XMPP server receives request notification from client device for establishing communication with host device. XMPP server authenticates client device and host device using XMPP credentials and sends request notification to host device and receive an acceptance notification from the host device for establishing communication with the client device. XMPP server establishes bidirectional secured communication channel between the client device and the host device using an XMPP protocol or a network protocol, over a secured layer protocol and facilitates communication between the client device and the host device over the bidirectional secured communication channel. Client device and host device are connected under secured network and restricted to access each other through firewall restricted boundaries.
Abstract:
A method for delivering data in at least two short messages being concatenated to each other wherein a short message is delivered from an originating party to a destination party through a short message service center, an acknowledgement indicating a successful delivery of the delivered short message is received by the originating party from the short message center, and in response to the receipt of the acknowledgement indicating a successful delivery of the previous short message, at least one other short message is delivered to the destination party. A server implementing at least part of the method steps is also described.
Abstract:
A recipient-centric gateway sits at the corporate network perimeter, retaining all outgoing e-mail, organizing the e-mail by recipient so that senders or other designated individuals can view the retained mail from the perspective of the recipient. A login retry limit is based on password strength. A system that guarantees the sender that the recipient is not phished with e-mail fraudulently purported to be from the sender's domain. A system that, without communicating certificates or publishing certificates to third parties and without requiring any workflow changes, enables the transparent two way sending of secure e-mail. A system that, based on feedback and usage, optimizes mailbox responsiveness across the network.
