Abstract: A combine harvester is provided with: a threshing device that performs a threshing process of threshing a crop; a grain tank that stores grain obtained by the threshing process; a grain discharging device that discharges grain to be stored in the grain tank to the outside of the vehicle body; a travel driving device that drives travel of the vehicle body; and an engine that serves as a power source. The combine harvester includes a first relay shaft to which power is transmitted from an output shaft of the engine, and the power of the engine is transmitted from the first relay shaft to the grain discharging device and the travel driving device in a branched manner.

Abstract: A shifting device for a transmission is disclosed. The shifting device comprises a transmission shaft, a shift gear being mounted thereon, wherein the shift gear is configured with a connecting hub which is axially displaceable relative to the transmission shaft, wherein the connecting hub has an internal toothing in engagement with an external toothing of the transmission shaft, so that the shift gear is drive-connected to the transmission shaft in an axially displaceable manner therewith. A latching device is further provided, the shift gear being axially displaceable thereby into a plurality of latching positions. The latching device comprises a spring-pretensioned setting pin displaceably mounted radially to the transmission shaft and in engagement with a setting shaft rotatably mounted in the transmission shaft, such that the setting shaft and the setting pin can be brought out of an unlocked position into a locked position and vice-versa by rotating the setting shaft.

Abstract: A control system for controlling a motion of an auger tube of a combine harvester comprises a dynamic pre-filter, a position controller, and a speed controller. The dynamic pre-filter receives a desired position value for the auger tube and generates a filtered desired position signal which changes the desired position value from an old value to a new value over a time period. The position controller receives a first difference between the filtered desired position signal and an actual position of the auger tube. The position controller generates a desired angular speed signal that varies according to the first difference. The speed controller receives a second difference between the desired angular speed signal and an actual speed of the auger tube. The speed controller generates an actuator signal that varies according to the second difference and is received by an actuating system that moves the auger tube.

Abstract: A combine harvester is provided with a conveyance system for transporting crop material discharged by overhead grain separating apparatus to a grain cleaning shoe. The conveyance system comprises a series of oscillating pans which move the grain in a generally longitudinal direction. A return pan conveys the collected material forwardly to a front discharge edge from where the material falls onto a stratification pan below. The stratification pan conveys the collected material rearwardly to a rear discharge edge from where the material falls into the grain cleaning shoe. At least one of the return pan and the stratification pan is non-rectangular and has a non-transverse discharge edge.
