摘要： A marking apparatus facilitates blind slide-mounting of an object to a mounting surface in a desired alignment using the object as an alignment template. A retention element in receipt of a post is movable against resilient bias to allow the head of the apparatus to capture a mounting slot in the object. The resilient bias moves the retention element to a gripping position, and a cover is rotated to cause a tightening element to secure the grip of the apparatus to the object. A rotational detent element offset from the head prevents the post from rotating with respect to the retention element. When affixed to the object, the apparatus is used to mark the appropriate location for installation of a fastener to supportingly engage the slide-mount slot of the object. The apparatus may include an orthogonality adapter to ensure that it remains orthogonal to the object during certain marking operations.

摘要： The invention relates to a frame which may be easily assembled and includes a plurality of frame members in an unassembled state. Each of the frame members has a back, a first side having a first angle, and a second side having a second angle. The first angle and the second angle are supplementary angles. The frame also includes a plurality of adhesive portions and/or connectors which are attached to the back of the frame members. The opposite surface of the adhesive portions include a re-attachable adhesive enabling individual frame members to be pressed onto a wall surface to form the frame. An item is disposed between the back of the frame members and the wall surface. The frame members may be independently removed from the wall surface for repositioning, or the frame as a whole may be removed for repositioning on the wall surface.

摘要： A hanger system has a mount and a removable insert. The mount is formed from a single material and has mounting apertures to affix the mount to a wall or other vertical surface. 摘要： The present invention includes devices and methods that assist in hanging pictures or other things in a desired position on a wall or other surface where it is desired to insert two or more mounting nails or studs. Embodiments of the invention include a pair of nail-inserting punch assemblies that are provided on one or more stabilizing bars, although other embodiments may include more than two punch assemblies. Preferred embodiments may also include a measuring strip (ruler) between the punch assemblies, a slidable level, a slidable nail or stud carrier, and/or a laser. The unique nail insertion mechanism of each punch includes a sleeve for receiving a finishing nail, a magnet for holding the nail in place, and a coil spring for maintaining the handle in striking position. After positioning the device on a wall, applying punching force to each handle collapses the spring and causes a nail to be driven into the wall.
