摘要： The present invention includes devices and methods that assist in hanging pictures or other things in a desired position on a wall or other similar surface where it is desired to insert two or more mounting nails. Embodiments of the invention include a pair of punch assemblies for inserting the nails provided on a pair of parallel stabilizing bars, although other embodiments may include more than two punch assemblies. Preferred embodiments also include a measuring strip (ruler) between the punch assemblies, and a slidable level and/or a laser. The unique nail insertion mechanism includes a sleeve for receiving a finishing nail, a magnet for holding the nail in place, and a coil spring for maintaining the handle in striking position. After positioning the device on a wall, applying force to each handle collapses the spring and causes a nail to be driven into the wall.

摘要： A staple gun for driving pins into a surface. The staple gun includes a housing designed to facilitate manual actuation of a drive member, such that the drive member passes through an open interior channel in the housing to guide a bearing pin to strike a pre-positioned drive pin to penetrate through and affix itself to a surface. The drive member further includes a handle designed to receive the strike force used to actuate the drive member through the open interior channel of the housing. A spring is designed to push the handle and the drive member upward and away from the housing after each actuation of the handle, and a removable linchpin designed to restrict the range of motion of the drive member within the housing and to ensure that the drive member remains partially inserted within the housing.

摘要： The filtration membrane (102) includes an ozone producing circuit (120) having a plurality of electrically conductive lines (122, 124) disposed directly upon an active surface (102a) of the filtration membrane (102). The electrically conductive lines (122, 124) form spaced-apart and interleaved anodes (122) and cathodes (124). Ozone and other mixed oxidants coming from the ozone producing circuit (120) will prevent and/or remove biofilm formations on the active surface (102a) without the need of an outside source of gas. They can also remove at least some undesirable dissolved gases from the liquid being purified.

摘要： The present invention includes a snap installation adaptor designed to be united with a handheld tool so that the union can permanently affix snaps onto fabric. The snap installation adaptor includes an upper portion with a cap node; a lower portion with a socket node; an intermediate portion connecting the upper and lower portions; and means for transferring external downward force from the handheld tool through the upper portion so that the cap node is forced to meet the socket node, thus permanently affixing a snap onto a piece of fabric between the upper and lower portions.

摘要： A framing hammer including an automatic feeding magazine supported within the hammerhead by guide rails with a self-loading magazine. Through the center of the upper portion of the hammer handle lies the self-loading reciprocating magazine. The top end of the magazine actuates due to the force of the impact of the tool through its natural operation. The magazine is inclined at 21° relative to the handle and is spaced in the center of the handle from the rear of the nail driving face. Structure is provided for individually driving a nail from a magazine contained row of commercially available 21° collated nails toward the rearward facing end of the hammerhead. Upon impact the tool dispenses and sets a nail up to a 1½″ into the work surface, upon disengagement the tool reciprocates to resets to its resting position whereupon the tool is ready to repeat the action.

The method includes resetting the tool by torsionally urging a portion of a firing pin into axial alignment with a finger of a barrel of the tool and compressing the barrel of the tool toward a housing of the tool. The resetting further includes the finger urging the portion of the firing pin to a ready position in response to the compression of the barrel. The method further includes firing the tool by rotating a rotator and the firing pin to a position where the portion of the firing pin is unsupported by the finger.

摘要： A stapler having a detached base supporting an anvil and a first magnetic element, and a stapling assembly for ejecting staples from a magazine port. The stapling assembly supports a second magnetic element positioned for magnetic coupling to the base to align the anvil with the magazine port. Accordingly, the staple-driving stapling assembly and detached anvil-supporting base are not mechanically coupled. Instead, the stapling assembly and base are magnetically couplable. The magnetic coupling feature eliminates throat depth limitations and allows for staple placement at any desired location on a sheet of any size. An alignment guide may be provided to visually indicate an approximate location where a driven staple will be placed. The base and stapling assembly may be provided with friction pads for limiting movement of any sheets therebetween while stapling.
