摘要： A watering device for a tree stand has a reservoir with an upper opening. A cover having a port is mounted on the upper opening of the reservoir. The cover encloses closes the reservoir. A shelf is mounted in the reservoir below the cover and is shaped to allow water to bypass the shelf. A length of tube communicating with the reservoir supplies water to the reservoir below the shelf. A valve is reciprocatively mounted between the shelf and the cover for controlling water flow through the port. A float is attached atop the valve means and above the cover for floating and operating the valve means to seal the port of the cover. Thus, water flowing out of the reservoir and into the tree stand is regulated by the floating and the operation of the valve.

The stand may be used in conjunction with a dish having a wall and lugs which retain the stand within the dish. For added support, a second base may be used which is inserted into a void of a larger base.

摘要： A hangable holder suitable for suspending plants and the like comprises a receptacle suitable for holding a plant and a unitary support for the receptacle. The support comprises a waterproof bottom and an exterior peripheral wall extending upwardly from the bottom. There are at least three longitudinally extending arms projecting upwardly from the exterior wall, each arm being provided with a support hole. There can be an inner wall inwardly from the exterior wall with a space between the two walls for holding articles such as decorative flowers. A ring for selective removable engagement with the arms permits a removable container to be located in the support prior to the use of a receptacle.

摘要： A paperboard or cardboard blank has quandrantally located tabs die cut therein and inwardly located score or weakened fold lines. Outwardly spaced from the fold lines, that is, near the free ends of the tabs, are pairs of holes. With the exception of the holes in one tab, each hole in the other tabs has a slit and an entrance notch so as to faciltiate the entrance of a portion of a ribbon. Whereas the tabs have holes formed therein, the blank has an additional first and second hole spaced from the tabs and also from each other, each having a slit and entrance notch to facilitate the insertion of a portion of a ribbon into the first and second holes. The blank has a square configuration, two corners thereof being provided with pairs of holes, each hole of each pair in the corners having slits and notches so as to also facilitate the insertion of ribbon portions so that the remaining end lengths of the ribbons can be wrapped around to anchor the ribbons after the ribbons, there being two, have been pulled taut to cause the tabs to tightly engage the sides of the vase and thus hold the vase in a stabilized vertical position for transportation.

摘要： A Christmas tree stand includes a unitary H-frame consisting of four stub feet forming a cross-shape base and extending radially horizontally outwardly from each other, a pair of parallel upright stanchions extending integrally upwardly from intermediate portions of two adjacent feet, and an H-bar or horizontal reinforcing brace integrally connecting intermediate portions of the upright stanchions to each other. Four hollow foot extension shoes are telescopically mounted on the stub feet to make the stand and a tree mounted in it stable against tipping. Flexible tree trunk retaining straps fasten around upper and lower portions of the stanchions and around the tree trunk to hold the tree in an upright position. A water bucket having vertical side walls is part of the stand and is positioned between the trunk of the tree and the stanchions at the butt of the trunk so that the weight of the tree is supported on the butt in the bucket and the bucket is supported on the foot/shoe assemblies which rest directly on the supporting surface.

摘要： A merchandising and display holder for releaseably supporting a plurality of Christmas trees, including a main central supporting post with a plurality of hinged radially extending vertically swingable holding arms which are carried by a vertically adjustable bracket on the supporting post. The outer end of each arm is provided with a tree trunk receiving fork arranged with a hook which enables a rubber band or other suitable tie member to releaseably retain the tree trunk in the fork in an upstanding display position. The butt end of each tree trunk may be supported directly on the ground or, if desired, placed in a water container. The main post is arranged to be supported by a base structure which includes a stake arranged to be driven into the ground at a desired display location.
