摘要: A portable bale breaker and potting apparatus is provided. Soil bales or blocks may be loaded onto an inclined bed and conveyed to rotating breaker bars that break the soil apart into loose soil. The loose soil is conveyed by an auger into a chute which deposits the loose soil into pots on a conveyor belt positioned below the chute. Rotating brush heads downstream of the chute remove excess soil from each pot. The apparatus includes a soil management system for recycling loose overflow soil back to an upstream position on the bed.

摘要: A seeder for depositing seeds in trays or substrate in a pattern of seed positions. The seeder includes a seed supply; and a conveyor configured to transfer seeds from the seed supply to the trays or substrate and release extracted seeds in the pattern of seed positions into the trays or substrate. A detector includes a light source and a sensor configured to detect seeds at seed holding positions of the conveyor in transfer from the seed supply to the trays or substrate and generate a signal. The light source is obliquely oriented to generate grazing light on or over the conveyor, for seeds to cast detectable shadows on the surface of the conveyor, and the sensor is oriented to detect shadows on the conveyor, cast by seeds at seed holding positions. An associated method and a computer-readable storage medium to carry a program for carrying out the method.

摘要: A tractor suspension type automatic transplanting machine for plug tray seedlings is provided. The machine includes land wheels, a machine frame, a three-point linkage, a seedling pickup mechanism, a plug tray conveying device, a plug tray recovery device, seedling separating and planting devices driven by land wheels, and a watering device. Through front and rear drive cylinders, the seedling pickup mechanism is driven to move front and back to pick up seedlings above plug trays and release seedlings above a seedling guide device. Juxtaposed left and right seedling pickup modules in the seedling pickup mechanism are driven by left and right drive cylinders, to move left and right and pick up seedlings after combing, and to release seedlings after separating towards left and right. Plug trays fall onto a plug tray conveyor belt of the plug tray recovery device and slides into a plug-tray-recovery stacking box.

摘要: The present invention relates to a device and method for sowing seeds. The invention relates more particularly to a device and method for sowing seeds as part of a plant breeding process. The system according to the invention comprises a separating device for separating a single seed relative to a remainder of the plurality of seeds, an optical recognition system for recognizing the separated seed, a robot arm device for picking up the separated seed and for sowing the picked-up seed, and a control unit for controlling the separating device, the optical recognition system and the robot arm device. With this system it is possible to sow seeds in a more accurate and less error-prone manner.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a potting apparatus, which includes a drill that is repositionable relative to a pot-driving conveyor such that the potting apparatus may be placed in a first potting configuration or a second potting configuration. In the first potting configuration, the drill is in a first position relative to the pot-driving conveyor such that the apparatus can provide the requisite drilling functionality for potting plant life with smaller vertical profiles. In the second potting configuration, the drill is in a second position relative to the pot-driving conveyor to provide sufficient vertical clearance above the pot-driving conveyor for potting plant life with larger vertical profiles. The potting apparatus may further include a soil delivery system adapted to receive and dispense soil to the pot-driving conveyor and a drive system operatively connected to the pot-driving conveyor.

The tray includes a plurality of sections. The assembly line grow pod further includes a watering component providing fluid and a robotic applicator including an articulating robot arm having one or more outlets that selectively dispense the fluid therefrom. The articulating robot arm is positioned to align the one or more outlets with a corresponding one or more of the plurality of sections such that the fluid is dispensable into each of the plurality of sections independently.
