Abstract: A seat adjuster drive including a stationary track that is fixed to a vehicle and a sliding track that is arranged in sliding engagement with the stationary track for movement fore and aft. A gear box, mounted to the sliding track, supports a pinion that is part of a rack and pinion drive assembly. The gear box houses a conical spiral gear set and one or more planetary gear sets. The conical spiral gear set includes a conical pinion gear that is coupled to an electric motor and a conical spiral gear that is arranged in meshing engagement with the conical pinion gear. The conical spiral gear is carried on the pinion in a sliding fit. The one or more planetary gear sets rotatably couple the conical spiral gear and the pinion through a gear reduction.

The spring member exerts an elastic force to maintain the lock plate in the locking position.

Abstract: A sliding device includes a fixed rail, a movable rail, a lock plate, a spring member, and a first stopper and a second stopper provided on the lock plate. Abstract: A releasing lever for a sliding device in one aspect of the present disclosure is used for the sliding device including a movable rail and a fixed rail. The releasing lever includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The first protrusion is formed in an intermediate portion of the releasing lever and protrudes in an abutting direction on a first end of the intermediate portion. The second protrusion is formed in a position offset from the first protrusion toward a second end of the intermediate portion, and protrudes in the abutting direction. The first protrusion and the second protrusion contact an inside wall surface of the movable rail at least when the releasing lever pivots.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a seat rail for a vehicle having a lever shaft configured to be integrally combined with bracket flanges, whereby shaking of a release lever in the forward/backward and leftward/rightward directions may be reduced. When the release lever is rotated in a restoring direction thereof by an elastic force of a lever spring, lever flanges make contact with a locking mounting bracket and a restoring rotation of the release lever stops. In addition, an end portion of the lever spring may be held by and fixed to the release lever so as to improve operability of a locking pin.

A portion of the lock lever between a pivot of the lock lever and the protrusions may have elasticity such that the portion flexes in the direction bringing the protrusions close to the grooves and in the direction bringing the protrusions away from the grooves.
