    摘要: A folding flex ratchet having a handle that is joined to a ratchet head by an offset hinge that allows the handle to be selectively folded between an extended position for applying greater torque and a folded position in which the ratchet operates in spaces where access is minimal, somewhat like a palm ratchet. The ratchet head may include a generally L-shaped neck that provides an offset handle connection point that is offset in two directions from the ratchet head, both rearwardly and longitudinally. The handle, ratchet head and offset hinge are configured so that, when in the folded position, the handle is approximately centered over the ratchet head and the handle extends substantially parallel to the ratchet head.

    摘要: An extraction and insertion implement and method of retrieving foreign object debris and inserting fasteners in small spaces providing a rigid rod that is held and manipulated between fingers. A resilient bulbous member joins a distal end of the rod. The bulbous member is resilient to compression for positioning within confined spaces and has a bulbous shape to optimize engagement with FOD and fasteners. An adhesive member detachably encapsulates the bulbous member. The bulbous member can be precisely manipulated from the rod to extract and insert FOD and fasteners in small spaces. The adhesive member comprises an adhesive that binds with FOD and fasteners to extract and insert into the small space. The adhesive member may be removed from the bulbous member so that after use, the contaminated adhesive member can be removed and replaced with a new adhesive member. The implement may be used in medical application and various embodiments may detachable affix to a driver.

    摘要: Disclosed is a wrench, which is used for wrenching a workpiece and comprises a unidirectional transmission mechanism. The unidirectional transmission mechanism comprises rollers, a first member and a second member at least partially sheathed in the first member. The first member is fixedly provided at a wrenching portion of the wrench, and the second member is used for mating with the workpiece. The directions of the rotating torque from the wrenching portion are a first direction and a second direction along the axis of rotation of the first member. With regard to one of the rotating torque of the first direction and the rotating torque of the second direction, the second member is stationary relative to the first member so as to output the rotating torque to the workpiece; and with regard to the other one thereof, the second member rotates relative to the first member without outputting the rotating torque to the workpiece. The torque of the unidirectional transmission mechanism can meet the demand of using a wrench, and at the same time, the unidirectional transmission mechanism remains silent in use and has the characteristic of wear resistance of bearings.

    摘要: A fire hydrant valve removal tool has a torque multiplier at the top end, a torque stabilizing bushing which keeps the transmission of torque straight from the top of the hydrant above ground to the valve in the bottom of the hydrant underground, a hydrant mounting adapter which at the lower end matches the flanges and holes of the hydrant so that the valve removal too may be bolted directly to the hydrant for stability, a drive which fits over the hydrant stem all the way down to the valve, and improved valve keys having a conical internal section allowing easy fitting over the hydrant stem. In addition the present invention teaches a rescue key which is designed to easily slide down into the valve body itself and apply torque to the guides/blades of the valve itself.
