摘要: A bearing equipped with a sensor and incorporating a power generation function in a simple configuration is provided. A bearing includes an outer ring, a plurality of rolling elements, an inner ring, a cage, a seal member, a sensor, a transmission unit, and a power generation unit. The sensor is disposed in the seal member, and detects state information of the bearing. The transmission unit transmits the state information detected by the sensor to outside. The power generation unit is disposed so as to face a bearing space sandwiched between the outer ring and the inner ring, and generates electric power that is to be supplied to the sensor and the transmission unit. The power generation unit includes an element that converts stress into electromotive force.

The target holder having a mounting portion secured to the first ring of the bearing. The target holder has at least anti-rotation feature axially spaced apart from a free end of the mounting portion and cooperating with a complementary anti-rotation feature of the first ring so as to prevent angular movement of the impulse ring relative to the first ring. The anti-rotation feature of the target holder extends into the complementary anti-rotation feature of the first ring.

The device may also include a first Hall sensor spaced apart from the magnets, installed to allow the magnetic materials to rotate in a space between the first Hall sensor and the magnets and configured to output a first signal based on the magnets when the magnetic materials approach the first Hall sensor. The device may further include a controller configured to measure an absolute position of the rotating body using the first signal.

In some embodiments, the module carrier has a cut-out on at least one of its axial side surfaces. through which a lubricant can be introduced into the bearing. The cut-out is arranged circumferentially in the region away from the sensor modules. In other embodiments, the module carrier has at least one predetermined break point for configuring a cut-out.

The conductor outer radial end or/and a portion of the conductor between the outer and inner ends is conductively engageable with the housing and the conductor inner radial end being conductively engageable with the shaft so as to provide a conductive path between the shaft and the housing.
