    摘要: The cord reel device includes a reel body provided with a rotation shaft, a housing that stores inside the reel body in a rotatable manner, and a cord which is wound around the reel body so as to be extractable and which is extracted to an outside through an opening of the housing. The reel body has disk-shaped members on a plane perpendicular to the rotation shaft, and the cord is stored in a space formed between the disk-shaped members. A guide section inclined relative to the rotation shaft of the reel body is provided around peripheries of the disk-shaped members of the reel body. While the cord is wound around the reel body, the guide section guides the cord to the rotation shaft of the reel body.

    摘要: A connecting arrangement by which an electric load, which can be displaced in at least one direction of travel in relation to a feeder device, is supplied, by a cable, with electrical energy and/or data. The feeder device has at least one connection member for connecting to a corresponding connecting element of a cable carried by the electric load. An energy-supply system supplies the electric load. A simplified automatic connection of the cable to the feeder device by a connecting arrangement has a manipulator for connecting the connecting element to the connection member. A related energy-supply system has such a connecting arrangement and a related method has the following steps: a) positioning the connecting element in relation to the feeder device, b) using a manipulator to grip the connecting element and/or the cable, and c) using the manipulator to connect the connecting element to the connection member.

    摘要: A system that comprises a winch apparatus for manipulating loads associated with public performances, such as performances involving performers and staging equipment, and in which one or more ribbons are deployed each of which is windable around, and unwindable from, a drum, a spool, or other take-up device. Also included is a ribbon for an arrangement via which electrical power can be supplied to a load via a suspension member, such as a band or cable, while movement of the load occurs via deliberate winding up of the band or cable onto the drum or sheave or unwinding of the band or cable from the drum or sheave. The ribbon includes an electrical lead portion having one or a plurality of individual electrical leads and a sheath portion. The sheath portion and the electrical lead portion are moveable with respect to each other.

    摘要: A block heater cord extender features a frame for mounting to a vehicle, a female electrical socket carried on the frame for receiving a male plug of the vehicle's block heater cord, and an extendable/retractable arm having a proximal end movably mounted to the frame. The arm is extendable and retractable in length, and carries an electrical plug at its distal end for mating with a mains power electrical outlet. Circuitry of the extender includes a wireless transmitter arranged activated by the mains power supply when the extender is plugged in. The transmitter sends a signal to a separate warning unit placed inside the vehicle, which reminds a vehicle operator to unplug the extender before driving away.

    摘要: A cord retractor for selectively retracting or extending an electrical cord includes a casing having a casing body and a casing lid carried by the casing body. The casing lid is selectively deployable between closed and open positions. A first cord aperture and a second cord aperture are formed in the casing. A rotatable drum is arranged inside the casing. A coil spring engages the drum for rotation. An electrical cord can be wound on the cord drum and selectively extended from the casing through the second cord aperture as the coil spring resists rotation of the cord drum and tends to retract the cord into the casing.
