摘要: Foundation systems and methods using in-situ shaped pile-anchors that are particularly adapted for use in aquatic environments. The shaped pile-anchor of the invented foundation includes a concrete filled tubular metal casing, the bottom end of which is positioned at a predetermined depth in the ground (e.g., aquatic-floor soil) and the top end of which protrudes above the water or soil surface. Concrete fills the inside the metal casing, substantially all the way to the top end of the casing, forming an upper portion of a concrete column. The lower portion of the concrete column extends down below the bottom end of the metal casing and further into the ground. The lower portion is shaped to have a cross-section greater than the cross-section of the upper portion, which equals to the inner diameter of the tubular metal casing. A platform is coupled to one of more of the shaped pile-anchors to support a structure above.

摘要: A foam mattress in which a layer of latex or latex-like foam placed above a layer of memory foam is described. This construction of the mattress provides the contouring pressure relief that a visco-elastic foam provides with a top surface with quick recovery (a latex-like “bounce”) that prevents people from getting “stuck” in the visco-elastic foam and improves the springiness of the mattress. The mattress may also include straps and cinches to aid in transportation of the mattress. The mattress may also include removable covers that aid in keeping the mattress clean.

摘要: A method for object tracking is presented based on the similarity of waveforms recorded at the receiving elements of the array. A rectangular array of acoustic transducers is divided into four quadrants, on the basis that each quadrant contains a receiving element in its center. Each of the four recorded waveforms are compared against each of the remaining waveforms to identify either absolute similarity of the signal characteristics, which would denote absence of the object, or identifying a waveform being the least similar from the rest, hence pointing to a part of the array above which the object is located. Further, source localization algorithms are used for ill-posed scenarios where the distance between receivers is on the same order of magnitude of the dimensions of the tracked object and of the tracking distances.

摘要: A bottle holder, which is secured on a supporting surface, comprises a receiving base and a telescoping shaft inserted into the receiving base. A portion of the shaft is elastic, such that it can be flexed (bent and/or twisted) to a comfortable close position of the bottle, held by the bottled holder, to the user who will be consuming the bottle's contents, without the aid or assistance of another individual. When the user finishes drinking from the bottle and releases the bottle, the shaft springs (snaps) back to its initial, unbiased position, where the supported bottle is angled upwards in such a way that any contents left in the bottle will not spill.

摘要: A first method comprising: predicting a scene of an environment using a model of the environment and based on a first scene of the environment obtained from sensors observing scenes of the environment; comparing the predicted scene with an observed scene from the sensors; and performing an action based on differences determined between the predicted scene and the observed scene. A second method comprising applying a vibration stimuli on an object via a computer-controlled component; obtaining a plurality of images depicting the object from a same viewpoint, captured during the application of the vibration stimuli. The second method further comprising comparing the plurality of images to detect changes occurring in response to the application of the vibration stimuli, which changes are attributed to a change of a location of a boundary of the object; and determining the boundary of the object based on the comparison.

摘要: A computer-implemented method, computerized apparatus and computer program product for monitoring traffic in a computer network. The computer network comprises a plurality of devices configured to apply a transformation function on a target port identifier of a requested transmission by an application program executing thereon and direct the transmission to a different target port per the scrambled identifier thereby obtained. The transformation function depends on at least one parameter shared among the plurality of devices and applying thereof is conditioned on the application program requesting transmission being listed in a list of authorized application programs. Attempts to access invalid ports as defined by the transformation function are identified and an action for mitigating a security threat ascribed thereto is provided.
