    Abstract: An engagement and disengagement device used in a seat belt retractor includes a first rotating member and a second rotating member configured to be coaxial, and a transmission member disposed between the first and second rotating members.     Abstract: A capacitive detection device that may include at least one electrode of a capacitive sensor, an alternating voltage source, a device for measuring a complex value of impedance or admittance between the detection electrode and an electrical circuit reference point and a calibration resistor, and a switching device arranged so as to connect the voltage source to the electrode, in the measurement mode, and to connect the voltage source to the calibration resistor and disconnect the voltage source from the electrode, in the calibration mode.     Abstract: The invention relates to vehicles having at least one handlebar, especially to motorcycles. It turned out that during a frontal crash the handlebar of the motorcycle itself constitutes a threat for the cyclist because in case of such a frontal crash this handlebar can constitute a basically non-movable barrier for the cyclist and the risk is high that the abdomen of the cyclist hits this barrier. So, at least one weakening—or destruction device is provided. This weakening—or destruction device is able to be directly or indirectly triggered by a crash sensor system and is able to weaken or destroy the at least one handlebar or to weaken or destroy the connection of the at least one handlebar to the fork of the motorcycle when triggered.

    Abstract: An airbag device installed in a vehicle seat having a seat cushion forming a seat surface and a seatback forming a backrest, being provided with an inflator stowed in one side portion of the seatback that generates inflation gas, and an airbag stowed in the seatback in a rolled or folded state that deploys from one side portion by the inflator releasing the inflation gas. The airbag deploys toward the front of the seatback and includes an upper chamber region for protecting at least around the head and neck of the occupant and a lower chamber region for protecting mainly from the waist to the shoulders of the occupant.

    Abstract: A seat-belt retractor comprising a seat-belt spindle which is rotatably mounted in a housing, an electric motor for driving the seat-belt spindle, and a gear mechanism that transmits the rotational motion from the electric motor to the seat-belt spindle, wherein: the gear mechanism, when deactivated, can be driven as an assembly for driving the seat-belt spindle with a first torque; the seat-belt retractor has a first part, which, when a tensile force exerted by the seat-belt is exceeded, is driven in a rotational motion opposite to that of the rotational direction of the electric motor; and a braking device, which brakes the rotational motion of the first part, thereby actuating a blocking device blocking a second part of the gear mechanism, the blocking device activating the gear mechanism to transmit the rotational motion of the electric motor in a reduction ratio to the seat-belt spindle.

    Abstract: The present invention is an airbag device mounted on a steering wheel of a vehicle having a rim with a shape in which the distance from the center of rotation to the distance to the upper edges is shorter than to left and right edges, that includes a gas generator that generates an expansion gas and an airbag that expands and deploys toward the occupant due to the expansion gas. Furthermore, at the stage before the occupant comes into contact with the expanded and deployed airbag, the thickness (width) D1 of the upper end part of the airbag in the direction parallel to the rotation axis of the steering wheel when the airbag is viewed from the side is configured to be larger than the thickness (width) D2 of the lower end part.
