Abstract:
A refrigerator includes a main body having cooling chambers for keeping food items therein, a base frame disposed to be movable in outward and inward directions in a lower cooling chamber disposed at a lower portion of the main body, and having a basket door at its front side, a lift frame disposed on the base frame, on which the basket is put, a fluid pressure cylinder mounted at the base frame and connected to the lift frame to lift the lift frame, and an fluid compressor connected to the fluid pressure cylinder by an fluid supply pipe and supplying compressed fluid to the fluid pressure cylinder. Accordingly, as the basket is lifted when being drawn out, a user can take out food items kept in the basket without bending his/her back, which enhances user's convenience.
Abstract:
An ice supplying device of a refrigerator is disclosed, which has a structure a container is easily mounted in a door, or separated from the door. The ice supplying device includes an icemaker for making ice with a cool air of a freezer; a container mounted in a door in perpendicular to the inside of the door, the door for opening or closing the freezer, and provided below the icemaker for storing the ice when the door is closed; a dispenser provided on an outer surface of the door; and an ice chute provided in the door so as to connect the container and the dispenser with each other.
Abstract:
An icemaker for an ice supply system for preventing water from overflowing from the ice tray by vibration and/or shaking of the surrounding structure includes an icemaker, a container provided at a lower part of the icemaker and an ice chute for supplying the ice stored in the ice container. An ejector in the ice tray of the icemaker and a dropper device having an inclined upper surface at a side of the open top of the ice tray are provided for dropping the ice discharged upwardly by the ejector. An overflow prevention device is provided at another side of the open top of the ice tray for preventing water filled in the ice tray from overflowing. The overflow prevention device includes a panel extending upward from the ice tray and a cover coupled with the hinge at the top of the ice tray.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rapid cooling apparatus for rapidly cooling objects at room temperature via conductive heat transfer and convective heat transfer as well. The rapid cooling apparatus comprises: means having a storage space disposed inside a first storage housing for storing the objects to be cooled and cold material bags disposed around the received objects to be cooled; means for driving the storage means in a direction; and means for spacing the storage and driving means from a second storage housing. The invention provides a user with convenience via rapid cooling and also can enhance cooling efficiency.
Abstract:
Refrigerator with an icemaker including a cabinet having a mullion wall for compartmentalization of a freezing chamber and a refrigerating chamber, a case provided to a door on the refrigerating chamber, having a cavity therein, a first duct for supplying cold air from a neighborhood of an evaporator in the freezing chamber to the cavity, the icemaker in the cavity for producing ice, an ice container in the cavity for storing the ice, and a dispenser in the door in communication with the cavity, thereby having ice supplied to a user at an outside of the refrigerator through a dispenser provided to the door.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a refrigerator, in which cold-storage (1) and freezer rooms (2) are situated at upper and lower parts, respectively, in which ice made at the freezer room (2) of the lower part is dispensed at the cold-storage room (1) of the upper part, and by which a user can pick up the ice without bending over to enhance user's convenience. The present invention includes a body (B) having a cold-storage room (1) provided to an upper part and a freezer room (2) provided to a lower part, an ice maker (400) provided to the freezer room to make ice, an ice bank (600) receiving the ice made by the ice maker, and a transport mechanism sending the ice discharged from the ice bank (600) toward the cold-storage room (1) via an ice transport passage (200a, 300). Therefore, the present invention sufficiently secures the spaces of the cold-storage and freezer rooms to raise spatial efficiency.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a dispenser of an icemaker in a refrigerator for maximizing an inner space when a total size is the same, and for minimizing the total size when the inner space is the same. The dispenser of the icemaker in the refrigerator includes an ice chute being a passage through which the ice produced from the icemaker is discharged; and a container supporter provided at an outer case and disposed to be perpendicular to an outer surface of the outer case when the ice is discharged outside through the ice chute, the contain supporter allowing a container seated thereon to receive the ice discharged from the ice chute. The ice chute is closed and not exposed outside when the ice-discharging process is finished, and the container supporter is not exposed to the outer surface of the outer case.
Abstract:
A refrigerator is provided with an airflow passage for an ice making compartment of the refrigerator. In the refrigerator, a main body has an opened side, and a door selectively closes the opened side of the main body. An ice making compartment is formed in the door, the ice making compartment being insulated from the outside and being kept at a low temperature. A duct is formed in the main body for exchanging cooling air with the ice making compartment, and a cooling air passage is formed at an outer surface of the ice making compartment to connect the duct with the ice making compartment. A switching unit closes the cooling air passage when the door is opened, and opens the cooling air passage when the door is closed. With this arrangement, the cooling air can be sufficiently supplied to the ice making compartment without the penetration of foreign substance.
