摘要: An orthopaedic reamer includes a shell and a cutting tooth arrangement formed in the shell. The cutting tooth arrangement includes a cutting tooth having a predefined profile with a cutting edge having a cutting depth, and a depth-of-cut feature positioned forward of the cutting tooth, relative to a direction of movement of the shell at the location of the cutting tooth. The depth-of-cut feature has a control depth which controls a cutting depth of the cutting tooth during surgery.

摘要: An orthopedic reamer includes a drive train having a drive shaft, a reamer head connector driven by the drive shaft and a locking structure surrounding at least a portion of the drive shaft; and a handle assembly configured to detachably connect to the locking structure. The handle assembly includes a grip; a connecting structure connected to the grip that is configured to slide over the locking structure; a bridge connecting the grip to the connecting structure; a stop having a first interface feature connected to the bridge between the grip and the connecting structure; and a knob assembly at least partly surrounding the bridge having a second interface feature that is mateable to the first interface feature. The knob assembly is configured to prevent detachment of the handle assembly from the locking structure unless the second interface feature is mated with the first interface feature.

The apparatus includes a flexible, bacteria-impenetrable material formed into a closable container, the closable container having a base, at least four sidewalls, and a cover, wherein an interior area of the closable container is defined by the base, the at least four sidewalls, and the cover. A bacteria-impenetrable closure is positioned between the cover and at least one of the four sidewalls, wherein the bacteria-impenetrable closure controls a sealing of the interior area of the closable container from an exterior atmosphere. In use, a medical instrument sterilization tray with the at least one medical instrument may be placed within the fabric sterilization tote apparatus after completion of a sterilization process.
