Abstract: A shingle assembly for installation on a roof structure is provided. The shingle assembly can include an insulative substrate, a surface sheet coupled to and extending across a substantial portion of the insulative substrate, and a hook-and-loop fastening system comprising a hook portion and a loop portion. The hook portion or the loop portion can be coupled to and extend along the insulative substrate adjacent the surface sheet. The other of the hook portion or the loop portion can be coupled to and extend along the surface sheet. The hook portion can be configured to mate with a loop portion of a first adjoining shingle assembly and the loop portion can be configured to mate with a hook portion of a second adjoining shingle assembly.

Abstract: Catheters with at least two curved portions near their distal ends are provided. The lengths and/or curvatures of the curved portions are selected so that a catheter can be advanced through a brachiocephalic or left subclavian artery (BCA or LSC) to access the ascending or descending aorta (AA or DA), withdrawn therefrom, and simply rotated to access the AA or DA. Hence, the catheters provide access to both the AA and DA through the BCA or LSC without any need to withdraw the catheter from the BCA or LSC, e.g., so a second catheter can be exchanged for it. The catheter can further be advanced through the DA into the abdominal aorta and rotated to access branch arteries including the vessels of the lower extremities. The catheters are usable for flush aortography, arteriography, and intravascular pressure measurements, and can be introduced to the BCA or LSC via radial artery access.

Abstract: Disclosed are covers for a mobile phone including aspects that protect the phone from impact and/or provide shock absorbance characteristics. Covers can include one or more protrusions that reduce the contact surface to the phone and dissipate energy. Advantageously, the one or more protrusions work with intermittent spaces to provide shock absorbing characteristics and reduce the contact surface area between the cover and the phone. In some embodiments, the protrusions can include a soft-side rectangular shape, where the protrusions are placed in an ordered array in the back wall of a cover. In some embodiments, the one or more protrusions can include a row of x-shaped protrusions interspersed with air pockets along the inside wall of the cover.

Abstract: An oral disposable apparatus to deliver a fluid, e.g., pharmacological agent to a patient in a one handed easy to use and sanitary manner. The apparatus includes a container capable of holding the fluid. The container is hermetically sealed with a specified quantity of fluid. A nozzle is coupled to the container. The nozzle is configured to permit comfortable insertion into a patient's mouth. An integral valve is coupled to the container and the nozzle. The valve is configured to be activated via rotation of the nozzle, thereby releasing the fluid.

Abstract: A consistent meaning framework (CMF) graph including a plurality of nodes linked by a plurality of edges is maintained in data storage of a data processing system. Multiple nodes among the plurality of nodes are meaning nodes corresponding to different word meanings for a common word spelling of a natural language. Each of the multiple word meanings has a respective one of a plurality of associated constraints. A natural language communication is processed by reference to the CMF graph. The processing includes selecting, for a word in the natural language communication, a selected word meaning from among the multiple word meanings based on which of the plurality of associated constraints is satisfied by the natural language communication. An indication of the selected word meaning is stored in data storage.
