Abstract:
In wire electrical discharge machining, to make it possible to determine the state of rough machining or finishing in various stages, the machining speed, the working voltage, and execution portion information are stored as a set for each movement of a fixed distance in the process of execution of a plurality of times of machining in which rough machining through finish machining are consecutively executed, and are displayed in a two-dimensional graph.
Abstract:
An object of the invention is to improve the thermal conductivity and the hardness of a first shield gap film and a second shield gap film. Another object is to improve the thermal conductivity while decreasing the stress. The first shield gap film and the second shield gap film are formed of an insulating film which includes at least one of BN, SiN or CN as the main component, a little Ar and oxygen. Higher thermal conductivity can be obtained by using the insulating film which includes at least one of BN, SiN, or CN so that the heat generated in an MR element can be effectively dissipated. In addition, including Ar improves the hardness so that excessive polishing can be suppressed at the time of forming the air bearing surface. Moreover, including oxygen decreases the stress and exfoliation of the first and the second shield gap films can be avoided.
Abstract:
With this invention, the clock skew of logical integrated circuits is suppressed. To do this, with this invention, chip integrated circuit forming areas are divided into rectangular blocks with the same dimensions, clock drivers are placed in each block, and these clock drivers are connected with basic logic circuits and dummy loads. The total basic logic circuit count and dummy load count is made the same for all clock drivers. This allows the load of each clock driver to be made the same, so generation of clock skew can be suppressed.
Abstract:
A flash photography system for a photographic camera and a flash device adapted to be connected thereto with the camera providing an aperture value output for flash light photography and a flash light stop signal obtained from an integrated output of the light reflected from a photographic object to terminate flash light emission when the integrated value reaches a predetermined value. The flash device calculates a maximum photographing distance covered by the flash light for effecting a correct exposure of the photographic object from the maximum flash light value and the aperture value from the camera. The maximum photographing distance is displayed by a suitable display visible to the camera operator.
Abstract:
A flash photography system using a first aperture value output calculated from a desired diaphragm aperture value for flash light photographing with data obtained from ambient light, film sensitivity and the exposure data, a second aperture value output independent of the light value of the ambient light, data selecting circuitry for outputting any one of the first aperture value output and the second aperture value output, an aperture controller for controlling the actual diaphragm aperture size from the output of the data selecting circuitry, and means for producing a stopping signal to stop the emission of the flash light when the flash light emission reaches a predetermined value.
Abstract:
There is provided a technique that enables a process to be performed smoothly between two processing units of an OLT after rebooting of one of the processing units even in the case where a process by the processing unit is temporarily halted. An upper processing unit can be temporarily halted when updating firmware. A basic communication unit (lower processing unit) is configured to maintain its operation even when the upper processing unit is temporarily halted. When an event occurs during a halt period of the upper processing unit, a matching unit matches a management state stored in a first storage unit with a management state stored in a second storage unit after the halt period of the upper processing unit.
Abstract:
A dynamic bandwidth allocation apparatus 12 of the present invention is mounted on, for example, an optical line terminal 1 in a PON system that relays upstream frames F1 and F2 received from optical network units 2, to upper networks 6. The dynamic bandwidth allocation apparatus 12 calculates, based on the reception rates of the upstream frames F1 and F2 from the optical network units 2, the sending rates of relay destinations of the upstream frames F1 and F2, and changes in the amounts of data occurring upon relaying the upstream frames F1 and F2, allocated bandwidth upper limits (max_bw) at which even when the amounts of data increase, the upstream frames F1 and F2 can be relayed; and dynamically allocates amounts of upstream transmission for the respective optical network units 2 in the range of the calculated allocated bandwidth upper limits (max_bw).
Abstract:
There is provided a digital broadcasting receiver apparatus in which a temperature in the area surrounding a removable HDD does not become a high temperature during an operation regardless of whether it is disposed horizontally or vertically. A component with a large heat generating quantity and a component with a small heat generating quantity are installed in respective spaces inside a case. An adapter of the removable HDD is mounted to dispose the removable HDD in a space in which a component with a small heat generating quantity is mounted, thereby preventing the temperature in the area surrounding the removable HDD from becoming a high temperature.

A chain-type driving force transmitting apparatus includes a case having a lower space accumulating therein lubricating oil, an input shaft rotatably supported by the case, an output shaft arranged in parallel with the input shaft and rotatably supported by the case, and a chain wound around the input shaft and the output shaft and lifting up the lubricating oil accumulated in the lower space of the case. The chain-type driving force transmitting apparatus further includes a separator positioned adjacent to the chain and dividing the lower space of the case into a first chamber housing the chain and a second chamber. The separator has an inclined portion formed at an upper end of the separator and inclining towards the chain so as to receive the lubricating oil lifted up by the chain, wherein the lubricating oil received by the inclined portion flows into the second chamber.
