Abstract:
A toilet area for an aircraft cabin comprising an access door and housing a toilet bowl. The toilet area also comprises an evacuation exit, the access door occupying a closed position in the toilet area in a toilet configuration and a folded position in the toilet area in an evacuation configuration. Usage in particular in a flying wing aircraft is provided.
Abstract:
A seating device with reduced bulk, for example for an aircraft. This seating device comprises a backrest which describes a circular translational movement towards the front and upwards of the device when the seating device is brought to the retracted configuration. A seating structure is provided comprising a bearing piece on which are fixed, side by side, a plurality of seating devices with reduced bulk. An aircraft is provided comprising a seating device with reduced bulk mounted in its cabin.
Abstract:
A method for installing a wiring harness in an aircraft. The method comprises using cables having first ends secured to the harness and winding means onto each of which is wound one of said cables so as to lift up said harness by exerting a tensile force. The first ends of the cables are distributed along at least a section of the harness so as to distribute the tensile forces over the section.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automated storage cabinet for trolleys. It includes a device for automatically handling a single trolley with a handling basket including a vertical plate perpendicular to the waiting area, vertically movable between the floor of the waiting area and any one of the levels of the trolley storage cabinet, and two side flanks, connected to the vertical plate and provided with structure for supporting, on either side, two opposite sides of a trolley in the waiting area and for transferring the supported trolley through an opening of the predetermined compartment. The handling device can include structure for inserting the trolley into or extracting the trolley from the predetermined compartment.
Abstract:
To reduce the bulk of an aircraft toilet which includes a toilet bowl and a washbasin, the washbasin is movably mounted in the toilet to be able to adopt at least two distinct positions relative to the toilet bowl, including a retracted position adopted to bring the toilet into a configuration of use of the bowl, and a deployed position adopted to bring the toilet into a washbasin configuration, a position in which the washbasin is arranged above the bowl.
Abstract:
A pilot's seat offering an evacuation device. The seat comprises a ladder fixed to the rear of the back and covered by a detachable cover associated with the seat and deployable between a storage position retracted inside the cover and a deployed evacuation position, in which case the cover is detached. Thus, the evacuation device is incorporated harmoniously into the seat which offers a solid base for the evacuation ladder.
Abstract:
A cabin space dedicated to passengers and, beneath said cabin space, an under-cabin space which extends along the longitudinal axis of said aircraft. The under-cabin space comprises, distributed along two lines parallel to the longitudinal axis of the aircraft, two sets of systems which are able to carry out functions necessary for the operation of the aircraft. The two lines of sets of systems are disposed respectively in two lateral zones of the under-cabin space which are spaced apart transversely from one another and enclose a free central zone which extends along the longitudinal axis of the aircraft. This arrangement thus eliminates any technical zone from the under-cabin space, thereby facilitating the internal layout and maintenance.
Abstract:
In order to facilitate the thermoacoustic insulation of an aircraft portion, a method for manufacturing a thermoacoustic insulation module for an aircraft comprises a step of providing a mat configured to provide thermoacoustic insulation of an aircraft portion, followed by a step of attaching a bendable structure to the mat, followed by a step of bending the bendable structure, along a bending axis parallel to a longitudinal direction of the mat, such that the bendable structure forms a load-bearing structure supporting the mat in a curved shape.
Abstract:
A landing gear has a rigid structure and a gear compartment. A leg has a wheeled first end on a rolling shaft, and a second end secured on the rigid structure. The leg rotates between a rolling position, letting the aircraft rolls, and a landing gear storage position. A brace has a first end secured on the rigid structure. A guide bar has a first end pivotably secured on the leg, and a second end secured on the second end of the brace by a pivot shaft. A jack is secured between the brace by a pivot connection with a shaft parallel to the rolling shaft, and the guide bar, by a pivot connection with a shaft parallel to the rolling shaft. A locking system locks either a second end of the brace or the second end of the guide bar against the leg in the rolling position.
Abstract:
An aircraft comprising a fuselage which has a central part with a cross section of constant geometry which comprises a floor. The floor comprises two lateral portions which are fixed respectively to two opposite lateral edges of the fuselage and which enclose a central portion to which they are fixed. One of the lateral floor portions is fixed to the central portion so as to allow a relative lateral movement between the two portions in the event of a modification in pressure inside the fuselage. The cross section thus deforms homogeneously when the fuselage is pressurized and the floor is not involved in maintaining the shape of the fuselage.
