摘要： An electrical connector includes a housing member and a number of contacts attached to the housing member. The contacts include a number of first contacts and second contacts arranged side by side along a transverse direction, respectively. Each of the first and second contacts include a main portion, a contact portion and a bending portion extending from a lateral edge of the main portion. The bending portion has a narrow width in order to occupy small space of a rear wall of the housing member so that the rear wall of the housing member still has adequate area for mounting other components.

摘要： An electrical connector (100) for receiving a mating plug (200) having a number of plug contacts and a metal shell. The electrical connector has an insulative housing (10) provided with a base portion (13) and a tongue portion (14, 15) extending forwardly from the base portion. A set of first electrical contacts (21) and a set of second electrical contacts (22) are arranged in the isulative housing for engaging with the plug at a front and a rear position respectively. Each contact (21, 22) includes a contact section (214, 222) electrical connected with the contacts of the plug. An insulator (40) is located in front of the first electrical contacts for avoiding an improper connection between the contacts and the plug.

摘要： An extension to USB includes an insulative tongue portion and a number of contacts held in the insulative tongue portion. The contacts have four conductive contacts and two pairs of differential contacts for transferring differential signals. The four conductive contacts consist of a power contact, a ground contact, a − data contact and a + data contact. One pair of the differential contacts is located between the power contact and the − data contact and the other pair of the differential contacts is located between the power contact and the + data contact. The four conductive contacts are for USB protocol and arrangement of the four conductive contacts with the insulative tongue portion is compatible to the standard USB connector. The two pairs of differential contacts are for non-USB protocol. The extension to USB is capable of mated with a commentary standard USB connector and a commentary extension to USB, alternatively.

The driving member cooperates with and exerts a force on the actuation plate to drive the contacts move to electrically interconnect the two boards.
