摘要： A golf club head having a striking plate with variable roll radius of curvature and a variable bulge radius of curvature is disclosed herein. The striking plate preferably has a large surface area which requires correction of off-center shots. The striking plate may be used on a fairway wood-type golf club head or a driver-type golf club head. The striking plate is preferably composed of steel or titanium.

摘要： A four faceted sole for a high performance, large volume golf club head is disclosed herein. The sole has a central facet, a heel facet, a toe facet and a rear facet. The central facet occupies 50 to 70 percent of the total sole surface area. The toe facet, the heel facet and the rear facet are all preferably angled relative to the central facet. The four faceted sole allows for a lower center of gravity for the golf club head and a specific moment of inertia.

The composite golf club head of the present invention has a combined sound level greater than one hundred seventeen decibels during impact with a golf ball.
