摘要： A method for transferring a portion of knitting produced by a group of needles to another group of needles of a bed in circular hosiery knitting machines with two beds or the like, in which the two beds are coaxial and face each other. At least one first bed (1) is provided with needles (11,12,13) for forming knitting, and a second bed (4) is provided with knitting engagement elements (41,42,43), which can be actuated in order to retain or pick up loops of knitting (60) formed by the needles of the first bed or to release loops of knitting, retained or picked up previously, to the needles of the first bed. The method comprises a step, performed by means of the engagement elements (41,42,43) arranged in a first sector (D) of the second bed (4), for engaging a row of knitting formed by the needles (11,12,13) arranged in a first sector (A) of the first bed (1) and a step for the angular offset of the second bed (4) with respect to the first bed (1) around the common axis (1a), in order to move the first sector (D) of the second bed (4) closer to a second sector (B) of the first bed (1); a step for releasing the row of knitting (60) previously engaged by the engagement elements (41,42,43) arranged in the first sector (D) of the second bed (4), to the needles (14,15,16) arranged in the second sector (B) of the first bed (1) and, during the engagement step or the release step, a reversal of the orientation of the row of knitting affected by the transfer.

摘要： This invention concerns a control device of the dial in a circular hosiery and knitting machine that comprises a cylinder powered by a motor contrivance, a drive shaft (11) powered by a motor contrivance, and a dial (12) keyed to a shaft (13) made to turn by the drive shaft (11) by means of a transmission. This transmission comprises a toothed belt (16), that mated with the toothed wheels (14,15) keyed respectively to the drive shaft (11) and the driven shaft (13), and the rollers or guide pulleys (17, 18) associated with the toothed belt (16), which move independently to adjust the tautness of the toothed belt and together to create a movement of the belt involving an angular phase shift between the dial and cylinder.

The movement adjuster comprises an actuator, connected to an adjustment cam and actuatable so as to turn the adjustment cam about its own axis through preset angles. The adjustment cam has a single external active profile, two cam followers being arranged on the slider to make contact with the active profile of the adjustment cam in two spaced points and cooperate in determining a bilateral coupling with the adjustment cam.

摘要： A process and an apparatus for reducing the length of the lead-in thread in double-cylinder circular hosiery-making or knitting machines in which the thread, fed by a corresponding thread guide, is clamped at its end, before knitting begins, by a thread cutting and clamping device which laterally faces the needle cylinders of the machine downstream of the position of the thread guide, relative to the direction in which the needle cylinders rotate about their own axis, with respect to the thread guide and to the cutting and clamping device. The process consists in keeping the thread clamped by the cutting and clamping device even after the thread has been taken up by the needles at the beginning of the knitting process, and in cutting the portion of thread which, at the beginning of the knitting process, lies between the first needle that took up the thread and the point where the thread is clamped in the cutting and clamping device. The thread is cut by means of a lead-in cutting device adjacent to the first needle that took up the thread and therefore the lead-in is very short and requires no further cutting.

摘要： A device for feeding an elastically extendable yarn to hosiery knitting machines, which includes a positive yarn feeder composed of two mutually opposite contrarotating rollers which have parallel axes and between which the yarn to be fed passes. Elements are provided for rotationally actuating at least one of the rollers about its own axis with a rotation rate which can vary on command. Downstream of the positive feeder along the yarn feed direction, there are arranged elements for detecting the tension of the yarn and a programmable control and monitoring unit which is operatively connected to the detector elements. The control and monitoring unit compares the yarn tension detected by the detector elements with a yarn tension which is preset in the control and monitoring unit. The control and monitoring unit is also operatively connected to the rotary actuation means in order to vary the rotation rate of the roller of the positive feeder in order to maintain within a preset tolerance range the difference between the detected yarn tension and the preset yarn tension.

Preferably, each one of the loops of the last row is knit in with a contiguous additional loop, further reinforcing the ladderproofing of the last row of the item.
