    摘要: An electrophotographic developer and a process for forming an image are provided in that the fixing can be conducted at a lower temperature than the conventional technique, and that are excellent in the powder storage stability, the anti-blocking property and the image storage stability after fixing without impairing the density, the coloring property and the transparency of the image after fixing, and further have appropriate electric charging property without any problem of fogging or cloud with excellent maintenance property of electric charge. The electrophotographic developer contains a toner for developing an electrostatic image containing a coloring agent and a binder resin containing, as a main component, a crystalline resin having a melting point of about from 60 to 120° C., and a carrier having a resin film containing a nitrogen-containing resin on a surface thereof. The process for forming an image is carried out by using the electrophotographic developer.

    摘要: An electrophotographic toner containing a binder resin and a colorant, wherein at the angular frequency of 1 rad/sec and 30° C., a storage elastic modulus (G′30) is at least 1×105 Pa and a loss elastic modulus (G″30) is at least 1×105 Pa; a melting point is in the temperature region of 45 and 110° C.; when a common logarithm of G′ is plotted against the temperature and G′ at melting point +20° C. is represented by G′ (Tm+20) and G′ at melting point +50° C. is represented by G′ (Tm+50) the condition of the following formula (1) is satisfied |logG′(Tm+20)−logG′(Tm+50)|≦1.5  (1); and when a common logarithm of G″ is plotted against the temperature and G″ at melting point +20° C. is represented by G″ (Tm+20) and G″ at melting point +50° C. is represented by G″ (Tm+50), the condition of the following formula (2) is satisfied |logG″(Tm+20)−logG″(Tm+50)|≦1.5  (2). The electrophotographic toner is good in a low-temperature fixing property and an offset resistance, has a wide fixing latitude and is capable of oilless fixing.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a conductive substrate having thereon at least a subbing layer comprising an organometallic compound (e.g., organozirconium or organotitanium compound) and 3 to 30% by weight, based on the organometallic compound, of a compatible binder resin, a charge generating layer prepared by using a coating composition comprising hydroxygallium phthalocyanine crystals (preferably those having a novel crystal form) as a charge generating material, a binder resin, and a halogenated benzene as a dispersing medium, and a charge transporting layer in this order. The photoreceptor is excellent in sensitivity and stability on repeated use and is free from coating defects.

    摘要: The invention provides an electrophotographic toner having a crystalline polyester resin; a non-crystalline polyester resin; a colorant; and a releasing agent. A resin (i), that is included in a toluene-soluble component of the toner and having a molecular weight of 30,000 to 100,000 as measured by gel permeation chromatography relative to polystyrene standards, has an acid value A. A resin (ii), that is included in a toluene-soluble component of the toner and having a molecular weight of 8,000 to 12,000 as measured by gel permeation chromatography relative to polystyrene standards, has an acid value B. A resin (iii), that is included in a toluene-insoluble component of the toner, has an acid value C. The acid values A, B, and C satisfy the inequation of B>A>C. The invention further provides an electrophotographic developer using the toner, a toner cartridge storing the toner, and an image forming method using the developer.
