A display panel includes a transparent image recording sheet having electrophotographically formed thereon at least a background portion, wherein space factor of pinholes per unit area of the background portion is no greater than 1×10−2%. A method of manufacturing the display panel is also disclosed. The background portion has a transparent optical density of 3.0 or greater and an image portion has a transparent optical density of 1.0 or less, and preferably 0.1 to 1. A toner used for electrophotographically forming the background portion and the image portion has a number average molecular weight of 1,000 to 6,000 and a weight average molecular weight of 30,000 to 150,000 as measured by gel permeation chromatography with respect to a portion of the toner dissolved in tetrahydrofuran, and has respective molecular weight distribution peaks in molecular weight ranges of 1000 to 10,000 and 100,000 to 1,500,000.

The toner for full-color image formation of the invention comprises a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the toner has a volume-average particle diameter of from 3.0 to 9.0 .mu.m and satisfies relationship (1) between the volume-average particle diameter and a colorant content thereof: 11.0/R.ltoreq.C.ltoreq.21.5/R (1) wherein R is 1/2 of the volume-average particle diameter of the toner (.mu.m) and C is the colorant content of the toner (wt %). A toner composition for electrophotography comprising toner particles comprising a binder and a colorant and an additive, wherein the additive is crystalline titanium dioxide fine particles which have been treated with a coupling agent and which have a specific surface area of 60 to 100 m.sup.2 /g and a Karl Fischer moisture content of not more than 5% by weight. A color toner providing a toner image excellent in brightness, clearness and graininess and a process for producing the same are disclosed, wherein a proportion of dispersed pigment particles having a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.3 .mu.m or greater does not exceed 0.1% of the total number of said dispersed pigment particles. The process comprises kneading a water-containing pigment paste and a binder resin at a temperature of 100.degree. C. or higher under pressure in a heat and pressure kneader to remove a water content to obtain a pigment dispersion, melt-kneading the resulting pigment dispersion together with a binder resin, and grinding the mixture.
