Abstract:
The inventive method concerns a process of transferring resin into reinforcing fiber material used in the manufacture of composite articles. A first step in the method involves positioning at least one layer of the reinforcing fiber material on the surface of an open mold. The reinforcing fiber material typically consists of glass, carbon, linear polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester fibers. Subsequently, a sealant layer is applied in liquid form over the reinforcing fiber material to create an airtight chamber encapsulating the reinforcing fiber material between the sealant layer and the mold. After the sealant layer is allowed to cure, a vacuum pressure is applied to the airtight chamber to draw resin through the reinforcing fiber material. For example, the resin can be an epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester resin. According to one aspect of the invention, prior to the first step of positioning the reinforcing fiber material on the surface of the mold, an optional gel coat layer can be applied to the mold surface.
Abstract:
A back cover for a mobile phone is described. The cover comprises an elongate body having an outer surface exposed on attachment to the phone and inner surfaces comprising first and second guiding surfaces; and lockable restraining means arranged to co-operate with corresponding restraining means of the phone on the movement of the cover with respect to the phone along said guiding surfaces, thereby preventing substantial movement of the body with respect to the phone in said lengthwise direction. The lockable restraining means of the cover or the corresponding restraining means of the phone comprises a resilient, outwardly flexible part. This part resiliently flexes on said movement of the cover with respect to the phone along said guiding surfaces and forms a user releasable locking engagement between the cover and the phone. The locking engagement is released by the user pulling outwards on the member.
Abstract:
A toy bicycle that is a scale model including frame, seat, handlebar, front and rear wheel assemblies and front and rear suspension systems comparable to a full-sized bicycle. The bicycle may also include various rear and front brakes such that the user may apply a downward force to either the front or rear end of the bicycle and stop the turning of the respective wheel. There are also included various finger-operated attachments that permit the user to more readily and easily control the toy bicycle with one or more fingers.
Abstract:
The animal anchor disclosed has a substantially horizontally extending body member which includes a central hub portion, an annular outer portion surrounding the hub portion, and spoke portions interconnecting the central hub and annular outer portions. The hub has a swivel hook for connecting a leash or chain. A majority of the weight of the body member is disposed in the annular outer portions making the anchor difficult to tip.

Abstract:
A system and mechanism for bottom ash flow turndown from a hopper, through a crusher, and to a conveyor, the system including a fixed flow restrictor and a variable speed side discharge crusher to modulate bottom ash flow in the absence of gate or valve flow from a hopper.
Abstract:
A dust collection system includes a drill that includes an arbor and a hole saw. A vacuum is provided that includes a hose. A bellows is provided and the bellows may be positioned against a surface. The drill is extended into the bellows to cut a hole in the surface. The bellows surrounds the hole saw to contain dust created when the hole saw cuts the hole. The hose of the vacuum is fluidly coupled to the bellows. Thus, the vacuum sucks the dust out of the bellows.
Abstract:
Devices, methods, and systems for providing building information modeling data are described herein. One system includes a database having complete building information modeling data associated with a building, and a computing device coupled to the database. The computing device is configured to receive, from a user of the computing device, a request for a particular scope of building information modeling data associated with the building, retrieve, from the database, the building information modeling data in the database that corresponds to the particular scope of building information modeling data requested by the user, and provide, to the user, the building information modeling data that corresponds to the particular scope of building information modeling data requested by the user.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel methods and kits for treating or preventing disease through the administration of random copolymers. The invention also relates to the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, and to the administration of random copolymers in treatment regimen comprising formulations that are administered at intervals greater than 24 hours, or to sustained release formulations which administer the copolymer over a period greater than 24 hours. The invention further relates to methods for conducting a pharmaceutical business comprising manufacturing, licensing, or distributing kits containing or relating to the formulations or dosing regimens of random copolymer described herein.
