    Abstract: The refrigerator may comprise: a first tray assembly forming a part of ice-making cells; and a second tray assembly forming the other part of the ice-making cells. In order that ice can be produced in the direction of ice-making cells formed by any One of the first and second tray assemblies to ice-making cells formed by the other tray assembly, following the start of an ice-making process, the one tray assembly comprises a first part, and the first part comprises: a first surface forming a part of the ice-making cells; and a first deformation-resistant reinforcement part extending from the first surface in the vertical direction away from a heater.

    Abstract: A refrigerator comprises: a storage chamber, a cooler, a first tray, a second tray, the first portion and the second portion being configured to define a space formed by the cell to receive a liquid to be phase-changed to form ice, a heater provided adjacent to at least one of the first tray or the second tray; and a controller configured to: operate the heater while the ice is being formed so that gas bubbles dissolved in the liquid within the cell move from a portion of space where the liquid that has phase-changed into the ice to another portion of the space where the liquid is in a fluid state, and when a defrosting start condition is satisfied while the ice is being formed in the space of the cell, perform a defrosting process and reduce an amount of cold supplied by the cooler.

    Abstract: A refrigerator according to the present disclosure includes a storage chamber configured to store food, a cooler configured to supply cold to the storage chamber, a first temperature sensor configured to sense the temperature in the storage chamber, a first tray configured to form a portion of an ice making cell that is a space in which water is phase-changed into ice by the cold, a second tray configured to form another portion of the ice making cell, a water supply part configured to supply water to the ice making cell, a second temperature sensor configured to sense the temperature of water or ice in the ice making cell, a heater configured to be positioned adjacent to at least one of the first tray and the second tray, and a controller configured to control the heater, in which the controller controls the degree of supercooling of water to be reduced in at least one or more of a first section from the completion of a preparation step for water supply until the start of the water supply, a second section from the start of the water supply until the completion of the water supply, and a third sections from the start of the ice making process before the ice making process is completed.
