    Abstract: A humidification and air cleaning apparatus is provided that may include a water tank having a discharge port which is open toward an upper side, and a discharge grill disposed at the water tank and covering the discharge port. The discharge grill may have a plurality of vanes disposed at the discharge port and spaced apart from each other, and when viewed from a top, overlap each other to cover the discharge port. An edge of a vane may overlap an edge of an adjacent vane, thereby minimizing scattering of droplets to an indoor space while minimizing resistance of discharged air.

    Abstract: First and second towers may discharge air. An airflow guide or converter may change a direction of the air discharged from the first tower and the second tower by moving a gate inside and outside of at least one of the first or second towers so as to block discharged air flowing forward and selectively facilitate an upward air flow. The airflow converter may include a guide motor to provide a driving force, the gate, which may reciprocate between the inside and the outside of the first and/or second towers; and a board guider connected to the gate to transmit a driving force of the guide motor to the gate as a linear motion force.

    Abstract: A turbo fan includes a hub for coupling a rotating shaft of a motor, a shroud, and a plurality of blades. Each blade includes an inner insertion portion disposed between the hub and the shroud, and an outer extension portion extending from the inner insertion portion and protruding beyond an outer circumference of the hub. Each blade has a positive pressure surface that includes a front surface facing toward a rotational direction and has a convex shape, and a negative pressure surface that includes a rear surface facing toward an opposite direction to the rotational direction and has a concave shape. Each blade further includes a first flow guide protrusion protruding from the positive pressure surface and arranged at an outer end of the outer extension portion, and extends from one side to the other side of the outer end of the outer extension portion in an axial direction.
