    Abstract: An image decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus according to the present document comprises the steps of: obtaining a sign data hiding availability flag indicating whether or not sign data hiding is available for a current slice; obtaining a TSRC availability flag indicating whether or not TSRC is available for a transform skip block of the current slice; obtaining residual coding information about the transform skip block on the basis of the TSRC availability flag; deriving a residual sample for the transform skip block on the basis of the residual coding information; and generating a reconstruction picture on the basis of the residual sample, wherein the TSRC availability flag is obtained on the basis of the sign data hiding availability flag.

    Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present document may comprise the steps of: deriving an intra prediction mode for a current block; deriving reference samples located around the current block; generating a prediction sample for the current block on the basis of the intra prediction mode and the reference samples; and generating residual samples for the current block on the basis of the prediction sample, wherein the step of generating the prediction sample for the current block may comprise the steps of: deriving an interpolation filter, which is to be applied to the reference sample, on the basis of the prediction mode of the current block or the size of the current block; and generating the prediction sample by applying the derived interpolation filter to the reference sample.

    Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of: obtaining intra prediction type related information for a current block from a bit stream; deriving the intra prediction type of the current block based on the intra prediction type-related information; obtaining intra prediction mode-related information for the current block from the bitstream; configuring a most probable mode (MPM) list including candidate intra prediction modes for the current block based on neighboring blocks of the current block; deriving the intra prediction mode of the current block based on the MPM list and the intra prediction mode-related information; and generating a predicted block of the current block based on the intra prediction type and the intra prediction mode, wherein when the intra prediction type indicates the particular intra prediction type, the MPM index is parsed from the bit stream without parsing of an MPM flag.
