The method further includes distributing the packet to the particular one of the plurality of traffic processors.

摘要： A medical evaluation system includes an I/O module, a processing module, and an analysis module. The I/O module receives sensory data obtained by a motion sensor disposed in a mobile device carried by a patient at least when the patient is in a non-clinical environment. The processing module extracts medically relevant data from the sensory data received from the sensor in the mobile device. The relevant data includes one or more features of interest in the sensory data. The analysis module derives one or more surrogate biomarkers from the relevant data. The surrogate biomarkers represent at least one of a state or a progression of a medical condition of the patient. The mobile device may be a mobile phone carried by the patient and the sensor may include at least one of an accelerometer or a gyroscope that generates the sensory data to represent movements of the patient.

摘要： Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for error recovery in a network having a first application associated with a first endpoint node and a second application associated with a second endpoint node. These methods, systems and computer program products non-disruptively switch the first application associated with the first endpoint node to a third endpoint node arbitrarily selected from existing endpoint nodes when the first endpoint node is no longer available to the second application associated with the second endpoint node. The first application is provided on the third endpoint node in substantially the same state as the first application existed on the first endpoint node prior to the unavailability of the first endpoint node. The present invention is preferably carried out where the endpoint nodes are VTAM facilities. Also, the first and third endpoint nodes are VTAM facilities in the same SYSPLEX.

摘要： A multi-path channel interface for computer input-output systems includes the ability to define and activate unbalanced groups of unidirectional communications sub-channels for a user application. Protocol independent exchange identifications permit not only unbalanced transmission groups but also allow user-controlled extensions for negotiating the values of transmission parameters at the time the transmission group is activated. When error correcting re-transmissions force the re-segmenting of data blocks, second level sub-segment indexing assure the proper order of delivery of the various segments and sub-segments. The exchange identifications include an identification of the user protocol being supported and thus permit interfacing with any user protocol.
