摘要: A liquid discharge apparatus includes liquid discharge units, a first image capturing unit, a second image capturing unit, a detection unit, and a discharge determination unit. The liquid discharge units include a first liquid discharge unit and a second liquid discharge unit downstream from the first discharge unit in a moving direction of a recording medium. The first capturing unit captures a first image of the medium at a position corresponding to the first discharge unit. The second capturing unit captures a second image of the medium at a position corresponding to the second discharge unit. The detection unit detects a movement amount of the medium in the moving direction, based on the first image and the second image. The discharge determination unit determines a discharge timing of the second discharge unit with respect to discharge of the first discharge unit, based on the movement amount and a clock signal.

摘要: An embroidery data generating device includes a first storage device, a processor, and memory. The first storage device stores a plurality of stitch data used to sew a unit pattern that includes special stitches causing the sewing workpiece to be locally puckered. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions. The computer-readable instructions cause the processor to perform processes that include acquiring an area in which the unit pattern is to be arranged, first identifying a selected unit pattern from among a plurality of the unit patterns, based on the plurality of stitch data stored in the first storage device, arranging the identified unit pattern in the acquired area, and generating embroidery data used to sew, on the sewing workpiece held by an embroidery frame, the unit pattern arranged in the plurality in the area, using the sewing machine, based on the stitch data of the identified unit pattern.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a fuel cell separator is provided such that the corrosion resistance can be improved. A method of manufacturing a fuel cell separator that separates adjacent cells of a fuel cell includes subjecting a separator substrate composed of a metal material to gold strike plating, thereby forming a first gold plating layer with a thickness of 10 to 200 nm. Further, thick gold plating is performed on top of the first gold plating layer formed by gold strike plating, thereby forming a second gold plating layer. A fuel cell separator manufactured by the method and a fuel cell including the fuel cell separator are also provided.

摘要: A crosswalk detection device executes a predetermined arithmetic processing on a calculated value calculated based on data obtained through a scanning operation using a main pattern. Next, the device determines whether or not a crosswalk is in a predetermined image based on a relationship between a calculated result of the arithmetic processing and a position of the main pattern MP on the predetermined image. The above-explained calculated value is, for example, an average of the brightness of pixels overlapping each sub pattern of the main pattern. Hence, even if a white pattern of the crosswalk is cracked or the white pattern has a separated part, the value of data is hardly affected. Accordingly, it is possible to precisely determine whether or not the crosswalk is in the predetermined image.

摘要: The invention presents an embroidery data processing device and a computer program product capable of easily forming images of finished state of applique even if the fabric for applique is a pattern fabric. A selected fabric image of fabric for applique is displayed, and when the user manipulates the mouse, and moves the cursor to a desired position of the fabric image, and clicks by a specified number of times, the applique pattern preliminarily inputted through the image scanner is displayed at the position of the cursor (S101 to S103). When the user clicks the preview button by the mouse, only the fabric image within the applique pattern is extracted, and an applique image is displayed, and an applique sewing stitch image is overlaid and displayed on the applique image (S104 to S109).

摘要: The disclosure presents an embroidery data processing device and a computer program product capable of tearing off an elastic sheet easily after an item of embroidery has been sewn, thus enhancing working efficiency. A CPU extracts a contour line from needle drop points PN (N=1, 2, . . . , n) stored in embroidery data (S1 to S3). When the CPU judges that each needle drop point QN on the contour line is separated from an adjacent needle drop point Q (N+1) by more than a specified distance, the CPU forms needle drop points between adjacent needle drop points QN and, Q (N+1) separated from each other by more than a specified distance, reads out from a ROM tearing stitch data for forming a stitch of satin stitching different in stitch width in an inside direction of an embroidery region, and adds the tearing stitch data to the embroidery data so that a sewing sequence of stitches of satin stitching is ahead of a sewing sequence of stitches of the embroidery pattern main body in the embroidery region (Yes at S4 to S6).
